Have a focus 3 weeks and twice been into garage under warranty

There is a noise from the engine bay and the second time I was told its the fan belt and was changed

It's still there, like a whopping noise, ill try and post video out audio when I'm home

Anyone experience this?

I had a 1.6 tdci which made a strange noise after I replaced the timing belt. I took the top section timing belt cover off and could see that at certain rpm the belt was vibrating a lot on it’s downward run from top to bottom. I slackened off the tensioner a tad and it was fine after that. You could try removing that upper cover and see what’s going on.

It's under warranty for about two more months so I'll go back to garage so.

At first go they adjusted it, pushed on the second and changed the belt

Thanks for confirming there can be a noise and I'm not hearing things
