Ford Pass Update

Featured Replies

So they updated FordPass, and there is much more fuel info now.

I just don't know who to believe as the in car trip says I'm averaging 61.6 mpg and fordpass says 71.2 , I do hope the app is right 😄

The only reasonably accurate way to measure mpg is to do a "brim full to brim full" fill up and calculate your own mpg - treat the electronic stuff as a guide

The app is rubbish and cannot be relied on for anything really

Well I know to my cost it can be relied on to say you car been broken into.

I would always do a brim to brim to find the true mpg.

Mine doesnt give me any of that.

Had our Mk4 St line X 1.5 ecoblue for just over a week now and reset the mpg when we picked it up. Curently averaging 59 mpg mostly around town usage. Hope it starts to improve as our previous focus Mk3 was 63mpg.

Have any of you FordPass users checked if the app reports Fuel Tank Level. Mine has NEVER worked.

Yes I can see tank level.  Can't see that fuel report til next month when it has more data

There was another update after this, which brought my MPG down to a more realistic 64, and as with Guy above it takes a lot longer to get the data. Also  says the recommended rear tyre pressure is 27psi, which is totally different from the 32 on the B pillar tag.

Yes, I reported that to Ford.
