hi i have a 2009 focus estate lhd in spain . its due its equivalent of mot over here and the mileage is not lit up or its not working . the mileage is needed for pass so has anyone any ideaa what is up with it please . is there any other way of accessing mileage

wow that took some doing its appeared on facebook .i dont know how lol

when i switch ignition on  all the usual warning lights etc come on its just the odometer

If that screen is always like that I would suspect the actual cluster may need checking over on the solder joints as it's a possibility that the joints or connectors for the screen have come away from their respective areas, looks like it has power but no data line to tell it to display anything which says it's a bad connector more than the cluster itself, if the car runs fine and theres no other gremlins I'd chase all the connections to make sure a plug hasn't been jarred etc.

no someone used car and it came back with the tripometer not working or lit up i dont know which. rest of stuff all lights up as normal
