Camera Unavailable - Ford focus 3.5

Featured Replies

Hi I have a ford focus Mk3.5 titanium. I've tried to install a genuine ford reversing camera with the wiring into my car. I looked for advice online before I purchased the camera, and I understood from posts online that providing I have a grey plug in the boot, I could connect it, then activate it using Four Scan, and it would work.

It doesn't work.

I get a blue screen, then a black screen and then the message "Camera Unavailable".

suggestions? I hope its simple

I wonder if the plug is wired all the way to the sync unit [emoji2371] the coding in Forscan is correct as it recognises there should be a camera.
@mastachaz may be the best one to help as I'm sure he fitted OEM

Thanks. Hopefully @MASTACHAZ has some advice. The sooner my wife has a reversing camera the better
