Push Start Button

Hi all,

I've seen some guides on how to connect the push start button on my fiesta mk6 facelift model however i'd like to know if there's any use of connecting a relay(what does this do? =S) and if the switch LED stays on even after you switch on the car?

Ok maybe somebody knows what the pins on the back of the ford 'power' button do and then i can move on myself maybe? =S

yeah i found that guide but it seems like they use no kind of fuse/relay and that once the car starts the LED on the button turns off
