tazzman600
Peugeot Mi16 please not Mi6 jeeeez and it was one helluva flying machine. Me thinks it would keep up with or even beat an RS focus (think power to weight. It was light as a feather by comparison)
Stoney871
Try the government vehicle enquiry site.It will at least tell you if it is still insured and in MoT (and therefore still being used).https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Philf1
Well it's taken a long time for someone to spot that deliberate mistake haha. indeed it was a 1.9 SRi and pretty good for a French car, I'm not a fan but needs must at the time. clear typo on my part must remember to update my signature

The 405 was made when French cars were still decent, unlike these days when they are no better than Vauxhalls etc...
GMX
I do like finding an RS parked next to me in the sorting office car park, on a 17 plate too. It was identical to Phil's. Apart from the loose loud bulldog on the passenger seat, who was either barking to protect his car, or was telling Pipper that his RS was better than her Zetec I do like Pipper eats her worming tablet with the same enthusiasm as Brandy as did: she eats it as it comes with no need to hide it in a sardine. Whereas Molly always manages to find hers and leave it on the saucer, having eaten the sardine around it There is also app, called Check the Car for Android (and I presume for other OS' too) for history, MOT etc My former Astra has clearly been broken for parts or shredded for recycling, as none of the databases show it as existing now. 1 hour ago, jmurray01 said: The 405 was made when French cars were still decent, unlike these days when they are no better than Vauxhalls etc... The mate whose farm Pipper and I stayed on last weekend, used to be passionate for all things Citroen: despite their failings. However, I noticed this time, he's gone off them completely , there are no Citroens at the farm now, he's become a Lexus enthusiast, a GS for himself and an IS for his Mrs.
Ken.K
So today was an eye opening day. I found a new button on my Lexus called ect power. Bacially it makes throttle response more sensitive and holds a lower gear longer all this equals fun. Zico
I do like finding other people at work that are enthusiastic about things that myself and a colleague want to roll out further across the Council. I also like accidently coming across an amusing GIF and then finding the original video on YouTube. Porkour!!

tazzman600
To change the subject a little. I like drinking Theakstons Old Peculiar in one pub in the city followed by a few bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale in my local. I think this is what Saturday evenings were invented for. ( each to their own favourite tipple on this wonderful evening )

If I were on an island all by myself I would go for a nice drive on this sunny evening and enjoy the sights whilst sipping my wine, but unfortunately UK drink driving laws prohibit that!!
GMX
I do like taking Pipper for a extended (32 mile approx) walk up the Avon Valley Way to Fordingbridge, and then back home via Alderholt, through the various forests between there and Ferndown and the joining the Castleman Trail back home. There were rather a lot of pigs, (seemed like 1000's of them) in fields that last year were occupied by cows. I guess for the farmers, the extremely low price of milk makes pig farming the more lucrative option. We also encountered a couple of very curious, if not, over friendly llamas, who were in a shared field with 3 horses and an indifferent goat. The llamas insisted on escorting us across their field, moments after we entered from the stile, whilst taking turns at exploring Pipper with their noses! Pipper didn't seem to mind. I was under the impression, llamas like their camel cousins, are great and highly accurate spitters, when they encounter something new; and not just with regular saliva but with partially digested and smelly stomach contents. 23 hours ago, jmurray01 said: Indeed! I have a bottle of expensive red wine open at the moment, Chateaux de Rothschild 1961? When one of my business partners was about 17-18, and didn't know one wine from another, he inadvertently opened his Dad's sole bottle of Chateaux de Rothchild 1961, for a mate of a mate who only drunk red wine. In the garage, his Dad had a rack of wines for investment and a rack of wines for drinking, Richard just took the nearest red to the door when he went and got a bottle for this chap. paying little attention to what it was! At the time (early 1980's) Chateaux de Rothschild 1961 was retailing for around £1K a bottle

The 405 is still here (always will be) but the Focus is gone and replaced by a Volvo V40 whilst the Mercedes was written off (not sure if you were still here when that happened) and has been replaced with a Rover 623. chrisroberson99
I like finally having a clean Focus after a few weeks of looking sad due to so much dust and pollen! Difficult to find the time amongst weeks of revision, thankfully already done my exams for 3 out of 6 subjects now. Candy Red does look rather nice clean I think. Also cleaned the inside as it was pretty minging. Can't believe I've had it a year already...
