I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I talked him down,

Then ran in to the house as he was looking at me fairly wicked

Yeah, I will be getting the red Lindor out in a bit to munch on watching the Bond film.

I've had a very busy year renovating our house so plan to hit the gym hard after the Christmas hols, well, when all the chocolates gone!!!

Talked him down, with a bucket of water?😄

I know how it is; workinv hard & doing renovation's

Ive been working six days per week last two years and I'm encountering the third year of ours here; still using Ikea matts as temporary flooring in the living room as I've to change door frames and doors to oak,

Which will sit lower eliminating the use of saddle boards, I've created a thread some time ago here which I keep updated https://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/80864-living-room-project/

The matts are starting to wreck my head now lol

Can't relate to hitting the gym though, not something I've ever tried although I do like walking was doing 21km per day there during the summer months six days per week.

Plastered over the door, took two years to find the way out 😳

No started with one room, Then began to do bits around the entire house, still haven't finished the first room yet.

Just have a look at the thread; ignore the title and don't be annoying me🖕😀 feeling bad enough

That's the problem when you don't finish one room before moving onto the next one mate. I'm a bit of a pro now after fully renovating our last 4 houses. The current one has been a mare though to be honest. Lots of unexpected cans of worms!!!

Great peace of mind when it's all done right though,

Myself and the wife are now professionals in fishing cables through partition walls but sadly won't be doing anymore of that in this house.

It's like child birth when you finally see the cable peeping through where you want it to come out it's simply euphoric after all that poking👏 😂

Find this satisfying. Skip after a few minutes.

Tested out my Christmas present at the beginning of a 3 hour washing session 😎

I'm in that wonderful situation right now where both of my cars look like they just rolled out of the showroom 😊

@TimST2 what wash mitt do you use? I'm using the gtechniq wm2 wash mitt. Might get a lambs wool possibly dodo juices woolly mammoth or dookas one.

Need wash mine hopefully next week. Will protect it with sealent and wax.

I think it's one of these: https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accessories-tyres/85241/kent-2-1-noodle-wash-mitt

I really ought to buy a new one though!

My car's now encased in wax and wheel sealant too - very satisfying knowing it's protected 👍

I do like finally finishing the Christmas dinner!

Last of the beef in my lunchtime sandwich today and the final plate of turkey curry for tea 😎

Sat in hotel at Manchester airport having my first holiday beer. Flying tommorow, Florida ( 27c at the moment apparently)

Doesn't look bad. I also have another mitt which looks similar to that one but I only use it on the wheels. It's good you sealed it now as there tends to be more salt on the roads during winter.

Mine gets aquawax and wheel protector after every wash. Makes cleaning it next time a breeze.

I do like my wife dropping, and breaking, the ceramic butter dish in the tiled floor this evening!

Well, if I had done it I wouldn't have heard the end of it  😆

I didn't know anyone under the age of 80 still used butter dishes!

Much less mess dropping a plastic tub of lurpak spreadable...

Lurpak Spreadable? 🙄

A poor substitute for the real thing 😉

Nothing beats the taste of proper butter, even better if you can get real farmmade stuff in greaseproof paper 😎

My wife still uses stick butter and a glass butter dish, she can't stand easy spread butters as she reckons there's too much oil in it.
Must admit I'm fussy about spreads too, either Kerrygold or her butter if she's not looking [emoji39]
