I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

You have to watch this 😂

I do like going to test drive a Mk4 Focus ST at the weekend, loving the adaptive dampers and thinking WTH do it, then the dealer finding one already built to my spec waiting at the docks in Dagenham.

Oops 😁

So don't keep us in suspense, Alex - are you going for it?😀

This made me chuckle after getting caught in the rain earlier! I sea what they did there.

Nett some profits

I like my new A119 V3,had the old V1 for a few years and been A1 and was waiting for a newer one from the v2/v2's/pro and the Duo as reviews did not match the 1440p on mine.

Reviews say nothing bad only better so here we go.

For once in a while I actually am happy it's Friday. Can rest for two days after 5 days in the new uni.

I honestly feel 'lost'. Don't know if it's because it's a new place, new people, having to make new friends and now worried about what careers I can go into after this course. I really want to go in a career where the most I can make when I reach the top of my career is around £80k. Sadly I don't think I can get into medicine but seeing how doctors behave and how strenuous their jobs are I don't really see the point becoming one even though their pay is good.

I do like driving up to Dornoch (nearly 100 miles from where I live) and ending up behind my old Citroen C5!!  What are the chances of that?

The guy I sold it to is also local to me so both of us have decided to go on holiday to the same place at the same time.  Very strange, but it was nice to see the old girl again.  I do miss that car, the only reason I sold it is I was never happy with a petrol engine in a full size estate.

Take this as advice from someone who's been through uni and post graduation work life, and is still young...

Sure, the work life is 'easier' than uni life (no exam or coursework stress, weekends to yourself, you get to earn money, spend it on cars/hols whatever you want), but your uni life is when you get to socialise the most, and enjoy yourself to the max, and make life long friends and maybe even find a lifelong partner.

Post graduation, the mundane-ness of 'adulting' really kicks you (even despite the extra cash), and most new friendships you make are on a superficial level.

Enjoy your uni years, don't stress, you'll only get to live it once.

Well as someone who has never been to university and earns less than £20k per annum I can honesty say do whatever you can to get the best job possible.  Money isn't everything but it does help to have a decent income and you don't want to end up like me.

I do like getting ready to fly to Aberdeen for a gig tonight. Alice Cooper with support by The Stranglers 😎

Years ago we traded in a Rover for a VW Sharan at Hawco Inverness. A year or so later I spotted it in Curry's carpark 😀

Back then we only ventured down south about once a year so would have been quite a slim chance of seeing it.

@jmurray01 @Incontro thanks guys 👍. This is the first week and I'm already feeling like this. I'm sure others feel the same as most of us don't get to understand everything in one lecture.

I'm trying to plan my life out. Either might start working after this year when I graduate to save for a property and car before I get past that age where marriage might become difficult or do a PHD and save the money from that to get towards a house then save again for a nice car when I get into a job after. It's tricky. I mainly want to have the things I want before marriage or say before I'm 27 as I think marriage will just make me put my money to other stuff.

That's exactly like what happened yesterday, this is the first time I've ever been to Dornoch.  Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket tonight!!!

I grew up in Louth, I still have parents living in that area but I rarely visit atall.

I'm away from there eighteen years now; have my own home and family live in Co.Wexford south east of the country which I think is inline with Birmingham; My mortgage is fixed on a European tracker for the next eight years and thankfully i work for a German pharmaceutical company which is currently investing heavily in our plant 2.6Mill since January;

So apart from being faced with import tax on my Amazon purchases well atleast until Amazon come back in to Europe again,

I'm thankfully not going to be affected by any negative affects of Brexit much atall, #HardToBeHumble
