Top Gear also did a feature through the same area but can't remember if it was a 'special' or just a standard episode. You wouldn't catch me going near the place!

Yeah, it was the episode with the Mk7 Fiesta funnily enough...

Do you use wheel spacers?

Thanks man, no spacers but these wheels are wider than ST ones. I don't think I'll ever get spacers

Where?  The hand car washes and detailers around here are all closed due to covid - apparently clean cars aren't essential.

Tried the self service jetwash but that's also closed (possibly broken?).

Tempted to try a scratchy auto-car wash but don't want to look a wally not knowing how to work it lol.  I don't want to go into the shop either, no idea if you can pay for any from outside though?

Someone's been watching too much Simpsons...

There was a good documentary about Chernobyl on earlier in the week with Ben Fogle.  Worth finding on catch-up if you're into that sort of thing!

I saw that, was an interesting documentary,. Why would you want to be a squatter there to make u tube videos???

At home on the road where its parked. We have it done once a month by a mobile wash / detailed on top of my weekly wash.

He texts us when he turns up, washes the car and leaves it looking like new. He sends another text when he wants the car unlocking so he can do the door sills and boot and under the bonnet ( paintwork only). Sends a text when he's ready to go so I can lock the car up. Gets paid via bank transfer.

All the car wash facilities are closed here too so how else do you keep your car road legal and clean ?

I do like these Falken Tyres sponsored 1:64 Scale 20ft shipping containers which arrived last Saturday,

Go nicely with the Hotwheels AE86 Trueno, I also have two white Falken Tyres sponsored Hotwheels Toyota AE86 Trueno in transit,

The side of the container is interchangeable; comes with a replacement clear perspex section,

The containers also stack just like the real thing too.

All 3D printed,

2 X AE86 duck tail spoiler

2 X sets of Initial D replica rims

2 X performance exhausts

2 X sets of tyres

Check out how tiny they are

Bought some Matt black and chrome paint to get them coloured up, thinking now a permanent marker and silver gel pen would have done,

Going to be difficult to prevent the blast of paint from blowing the parts away 🤣

The duck tail spoiler should look like this when painted and fitted.

I do like that a fortnight into owning it, I can't find anything yet that is wrong with my Mondeo.

My greyhound likes she can finally lay across the back seat without having her legs hemmed in by the doors

Start off with a bad thing. So the estate agent I was training in told me they are not able to give me a job at this time and being new to all this customer service stuff it would take me some time to be competent.

Luckily I got a job offer in my local hospital as a healthcare support worker so booked the pre-employment checks and did my DBS disclosure. My main worry is I got the off 3 weeks ago so I really hope they didn't withdraw my application if I started booking the tests this week. Did message the recruitment guy and he said those documents I gave in are being processed and that I just need to confirm with him my employment from 2018 to 2019. Hopefully fingers crossed I still got the job and I start working soon.

The guy in the estate agent said I am still able to work with them so might do that part time whilst hopefully I'm working in the hospital getting paid there so that it looks good on my CV when I apply for further mortgage advisor roles.

Interesting MOT history on it too...  Straight passes for 6 years and then everything suddenly broke in 2019!

Maybe it drove into that huge hole in the road just ahead of it, and never fully recovered! LOL 😁

Hopefully today will continue fitting my new intercooler along with fitting my headlights on. Put HIDs in the dipped beam and now fitted autobeam LED Bulbs in the high beam to replace the halogen bulb

ah man,

would you not have fitted an upgraded intercooler since the old one required change?

I don't have £300 to pay for one sadly. Airtec do one but it's expensive. If I did do that I'd happily expose it for that mean look

Wondering if the plates are cloned?

I did wonder the same. Does seem strange if ford were still making them at the same time as the MK2.5. don't know exact when the 2.5 came out but must have been quite some time before this vehicle.

On etis it says it's a 2008- vehicle as in MK2.5

Change of keeper 4 months ago.

Earliest MK2.5 I can find on autotrader is build Jan 08.(57plate) That's 22months earlier than the one in the photo.

Is it on a regular route?  You'll have to stop and check the VIN in the windscreen next time you pass.

It’s on a residential street in the next town over from mine. I’ve been down it a few times (I’m a courier part time out of uni) and never seen it before. Will see if it’s there next time, for now the mystery continues!

I guess it’s not beyond the realms of possibility, I’ve see a 58 reg PFL and an 09 reg ST500, but I think it’s still unlikely.
