@TomsFocus time for your Ford Model to be updated then 😉

Sorted!

That's a nasty scratch!  Was there any damage to the box?  Surely it can't have been packed like that? 😮

Real I suppose...  There was a stationary bus on the other side waiting to turn across my lane.

It was only a warning, the brakes didn't apply!

My view is that It is a good system despite what the whingers say about it. I have had a few real alerts but no braking yet, probably because I had spotted the hazards and was covering my brakes or in the process of moving my foot to the brake pedal.

You probably know this already but you can adjust the sensitivity. Never felt the need to myself, I keep mine on normal.

Ironically had one on way to work this morning. On the back lanes. National speed limit and no other vehicle on the road and the damn thing made me jump 😆

When I looked in the rear view mirror after the alert, I'm sure I saw a leaf blow across the road 🤣

Was some minor damage to the outside of the box but the foam cover was on the alloy and the internal packaging had these cardboard/plastic 'chocks' holding the alloy in place. It must have been damaged before being packed but at what point I wouldn't know.

All four alloys are now sat in my room awaiting some C5 to cover them with and then for me to arrange a date for them to be fitted.

He was on his way to New Jersey and got lost on the highway as he was using old paper maps, not like everyone who uses satnavs these days. He kept the faith and finally got to where he was going in 2020 but he had to bounce. Have a nice day 😉😄.

Thanks for response; I started collecting 1:64 scale with my son at Christmas, I've got some by "Hotwheels" "Greenlight" "Tarmac Works" and "Inno64" I think the Inno64 are great value and detail is better than more expensive brands,

The challenge is getting the Inno64 models before they reach collectors, as then they begin to increase in resale value.

Do like getting some meatier brakes to fit on the car. Got focus ST170 front calipers to fit 300mm discs on the fiesta. Got them for a cheap price though hope they are all good.

Will clean them up and spray them.

Nice modification and a very sensible one too, I had my 1.6TDCi focus remapped and to be fair the brakes aren't great at 170km when trying to slow down for your next exit off the motorway they fade fast, almost start chopping the gears to assist 😅

Anyway: if those calipers were mine; I'd paint them whatever colour then the thin clip bar; I'd paint that silver to add extra detail and contrast,

Also consider some cross drilled and grooved discs for maximum street credit 👍🏻

I hope the unsprung mass isint to a point where it is a slug to drive; if that becomes factual there are performance upgrades available from nbstyling.

Yeah doing it primarily for safety plus looks.

I'm looking at spraying it gloss black to match my rear calipers.

I don't think dad will want me to get any fancy brake discs 😂. Will just stick to normal pagid discs.

Ah I forgot about unsprung weight. Hopefully it doesn't affect the car in any way though thinking about it the carriers and discs are bigger so hopefully not much more weight is added compared the ST150 brake setup. Forgot also I think my wheels are lighter than the standard zetec S alloys.

I am still thinking about getting mine mapped however with the ULEZ extension in October I'm not certain if I'll be keeping the car then. If I do I'll very likely map it.

I saw a Mustang Bullitt today. Sounded wonderful.

I also saw a Vauxhall Nova stranded in the middle of the road missing a wheel. It hadn't been in a crash, I think it had just fallen off

Like getting home from north of Derby with the Honda jazz with only foward motion . No reverse. CVT transmission fault. That's my weekend busy getting the box out of that and stripping down. Never had a CVT apart before. Steep learning curve!

Think the fault in this lot of parts. 🤔🤔🤔😂😂

That image only a bit of the CVT. Seems allot of parts compared to a manual box.
