Things I do like

Interesting, I've gotta say, I do tend to feel quite sleepy after a pint of milk, but I'm after the calcium and fats in it, so would rather not substitute, although the wifey has used almond milk a lot and she loves that...gotta say, I don't taste a difference, so if it's 'better' then I'd vote for it...

Im definitely not lactose intolerant but perhaps I'm in those percentages. Have blue eyes though lol!

Similarly gluten isn't 100% wonderful with me... Or me with it..

I find bread in particular makes me quite sleepy, along with oddly any high carb (which can also be high gluten) foods. Whereas simple carbs don't have that effect.

If I eat say, 3 oranges, a pear and a banana, no sudden tiredness: whereas three pieces of bread, I feel quite sluggish.

Almond milk is one of the more palatable alternative milks

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I do like pop tarts (again) they are exactly the sugar rush I remember of old. But still just as yummy

I do like passing MOT first time and with no advisories! :D

Good feeling eh? I remember the old '97 Fiesta passed in 2010 (I think it was) with only an advisory for the parking brake. I almost fell down from shock.

Very tasty, but somewhat dangerous if you don't have enough patience... :(

Watch out that you don't burn your mouth: nothing holds heat like a pop tart. :o

Steamed syrup and spotted Richard pudding, are close contenders. As are potatoes in their jackets. However, they are quite pale in comparison with heat within a pop tart

Only rehashed the chocolate ones so far, I've yet to scald with the jammy ones, I don't doubt they will though

I like blaring motorhead loud whilst cooking.... I guess the neighbours might become new fans....

I do like bacon. :)

Grilled streaky bacon on wholemeal doorstep thick toast with Devon butter :)

I haven't had bacon on toast for a while now, wasn't hungry enough for a full meal: but empty enough for a hearty snack

My neighbour, who co-incidently also has Mk2 Focus Estate in red: it's Motorhead and Deep Purple that accompany her cooking. Although she did say, she prefers to vacuum to Judas Priest

My mother used to enjoy ironing to Abba lol

I have music that I can only listen to when I'm driving (can't stand it at any other time lol)

My like:

Drive over to Fleetwood paid off!!

Provisional booking for my final exam in mid Feb - pending application form being processed :D

All the music on my Ipod is purely for driving can't listen to hardly any of it in the house, as I find it hard to 'get in the mood' on the sofa lol. Take that how you will hahahaha. TO be fair though, She sells sanctuary by The Cult is not a sofa song, neither is anything by Gary Numan, in fact other than Queen, David Bowie, Rod Stewart And Billy Joel I don't think any of my playlist is sofa songs

Random fact - I know a cousin of Gary Numan lol

I don't usually have music to drive to now. I used to before I had Brandy, but she likes to acknowledge fellow dogs as we pass them - too much random and sudden woofing sort of disturbs the music.

Will you be fully qualified after that, assuming you pass? :)

Sure will - Officer Of the Watch (Unlimited) :D

Further 12 months sea time and I can go for my Chief Mates

Then depending on how my career pans out - upto 36 months seatime before going for my Master Mariner ticket :D

Nice! Seems spending all that quiet time surrounded by seamen agrees with you

Joking (or am I?) aside, best of luck though!

You should see some of the women at sea these days ;)

Catching the git who hit my car and drove off. Hope the insurance sorts it the right way.

WRC is starting this week. YAYYYY finally something to look forward to!

I do like getting my office clothes washed and dried.

Hmm... Maybe I should be looking at a change in career! B)

I do like to see that a hard frost is visiting again, walking on the lawn is like walking across toast: all crunchy :)

That's the second day running, we've had a hard one :)

It'll be playing havoc with the slug's s*x life :) Slugs are worse than rabbits when it comes to multiplying, and worse for the garden in huge crowds, although a random rabbit can do a lot of damage

They tend to fall into one of 2 categories:

Absolutely stunning or "Is that even human? Let alone female?"
