I do like a very kind lady at work giving me a bottle of red wine she had sitting around, as she doesn't drink red wine and knows how addicted I am to it.

It's very good, very good indeed...  Especially after a hard Monday!!

Did she give you anything else to help the hard Monday though???  I do like taking my daughter to school and seeing her teacher.  Oh yes, see even said see you later(which I would quite happily oblige with) best bit is, she's the perfect size, not to scrawny and not to blobby.  Oh and she's brunette

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

I took some medicine down to my old primary school for my Niece yesterday...my how it's changed!!

Girl on reception...:o ;)

There was also an older woman in the office who worked there when I was a pupil (left in '99). She's aged well!! Hardly changed - and actually pretty damned fit!!

Used to be some fit teachers when I Was at school, secretaries were both fit & so were both of their daughters.  One was in my year, perfect figure, massive knockers(and I mean, massive) only downside was the cab was a little bit rusty but it's filled with isopon now hahahaha, so it's all better.

I do like that Brandy's hole is healing, now she can't get to it with her lampshade on:smile:

Meanwhile, Brandy likes the mashed sardine that accompany every dose of antibiotics

My old teachers were mainly elderly nuns or near sadistic semi-priests and full flanked priests, apart from one biology teacher who appeared to filling a hole by the sudden departure of her predecessor.  Now, the biology teacher was fit, in all senses of the word, and was probably only 5-10 senior to her charges

That's my mother's description of her school in the 70s, although it was a RC so probably to be expected.  My school was far better in the respect that the teachers were firm but friendly.  If you behaved you got respect and if not, you were disciplined.  That worked very well 99% of the time.

I can't say any of them were particularly "fit" though...

Seeing as you mention that, large "knockers" have never been something that I've seen as a particular attraction.  I like things to be in proportion, so unless the lady was on the large side, it wouldn't look right to me.

You can call me strange if you want - many do!

Mine was RC too.

Yes, things need to be in proportion, large "knockers" on huge girthsome woman work: large "knockers" on bijou petite woman just look plain wrong

It used to amuse me in Italy that the initial greeting to someone you had not met before, as a foreigner, literally translated as "I am strange"

That's my feelings on the matter!  Why women (of the bijou variety) go out of their way to get breast augmentation will never make sense to me.

Ex-girlfriend was quite well blessed in the chesticle department...

She carried them quite well - certainly not fragile

I miss The Twins  lol

I do like awaking to find my salary has indeed been correctly paid.  Maybe today won't be such a bad day after all...

I like looking up 2015-2016 ST estates on finance and realising how potentially realistic it could be... It's interesting to read about the offers as well as considering it as a business purchase (what business doesn't need an ST?)

Probably never come to fruition but I can still dream :)

I do like that Brandy's hole is healing and not enlarging: the cone is doing it's job:smile:

Although she manage to knock a small table, resplendent with crockery and cutlery, crashing to the ground the earlier.

The planning officer, dealing with the huge proposed development next door came round.  They don't usually visit, at this stage, but as it's an historical controversial site, she wanted to look at it first and measure opinions on it.  I couldn't help notice, in terms of attractiveness and, she was exceptionally so: not unlike Matt's Spanish TB testers:smile:

I've done this, look and cost it that is, (not purchase or lease one yet).

Unfortunately, I'm doing insufficient business mileage to justify it.  If I were to do it at the moment, it would be a liability that would increase my costs, and ultimately taxes:sad:

What sort of mileage are you doing? The personal contracts you can agree on 10k miles a year... I've not read directly on what can be offered as a business contract...

Any chance of turning trips into some sort of combined business journey...

We hit a few open air markets/auctions which require a few hundred miles driving...even if we enjoy them and they amount to no purchases, we still class it as a business outing as we are sourcing furniture/decor etc.. Also we'll be heading up to a trade fair in London in the near future, so a business vehicle would be handy then... (won't happen in that time frame sadly haha)..

I do like getting an interview for a change of position within the company, unfortunately means travelling further a field but worth it in long run I think

I'm not even doing the minimal 3.5K miles:sad: with my current business.

Apart from the initial presentations, which can be some distance away (London and M4 corridor mainly), I rarely need to visit their offices again. What I need are some new Scottish and Highland based clients with ever-changing and varying demands. Of course, which need to be assessed in person..to make an ST Estate, a viable proposition:sad:

A promotion?

I should be so lucky lol, no its a chance of finally going full time after 4 years of 27hr night weeks. Only another day technically but the financial pay off is worth it

Is it a minimum of 3.5k a year then?

3.5K is the minimum you can get away with before a company owned/leased car becomes a massive tax burden rather than a benefit to your business. The revenue consider if you're doing less than 3.5K, you're trying to hide your personal car and it's associated domestic running costs, in your business: rather a business car, that you might happen to use for domestic purposes too.

A van or truck isn't hampered in this way.  The 4x4s are a bit of a grey area, as far as the Revenue are concerned, some are acceptable as viable business vehicles and some aren't

Had i still been doing the 75-100K miles I did in a previous business - I could justify, an ST Estate every year

Can't you find the time for a couple conventions in Scotland or something? Tie it in with a short break

Something to think about, the civil service have their far flung "fact finding" trips:laugh:

There's a lot a crashing about, coming from downstairs!  I think Brandy and her lampshade are knocking furniture over again:huh:

I'm definitely going to have to do a lot of research into it..

I do like picking up a £100 car with 6 months MOT tonight...  Not too keen on the fact it is a Fiat, but hey-ho.

What model is that Jamie?

If it's one on of the Fiats that my mystery fuel filter fits, you can have it:smile:

It's a 2002 Punto 1.2 (ideal for insurance when I pass my test), but as far as I know, Fiat had the ingenious idea to put the fuel filter inside the fuel pump, therefore if your filter needs changed you have to replace the whole pump unit.

It is running well though, with the only issue being the temperature sensor which is slightly iffy (gauge varies between the "COLD" and the 1/4 mark despite being at running temperature) and has thrown up an error causing the EML to illuminate.  I'll go over the coolant system tomorrow to ensure it is all OK (bar the sensor), but if that is the only issue then I'm more than happy having only spent £100 on it!  After all - it starts, steers and stops plus is road legal for the next 6 months.  Can't argue with that, even if I do need to replace a few parts.

I wouldn't be surprised if said sensor suddenly springs back into life randomly - being a Fiat - electrical issues aren't exactly uncommon...  I suppose I should be grateful it is just a dodgy sensor, the last Fiat my mother drove (1980s Panda) went on fire

I also like this beauty that I found on Gumtree and picked up tonight:

It's a 1990 Kirby Legend 2, owned from new by a (now retired) Kirby dealer so is in full running order with accessories.  I don't know if anybody here knows, but I am a collector of vintage appliances (mainly vacuums), so this is a great find for me - plus a fantastic cleaner for the shag pile rugs.
