Things I do like

Featured Replies

In favour. Gave me time to understand how a car works from a mechanical point of view before I actually used one :)

I learned that from my mother's cars, no need to have one in my name until I can actually get behind the wheel... For me, that is - everybody is different.

I do like getting the all clear from the doctor further to a cancer scare.  Still got lots of problems in my life but at least now I've (hopefully) got a lot of time to deal with them.

  • I do like finally finishing a model kit I first started 5 and a half years ago.  It's a very special model that i was supposed to finish by the time the aircraft took her final flights across the UK

Thing is very low mileage examples such as this are fairly rare - downside is that Fraud's warranty expires soon

I do like asking eBay to "step in" on a case where an item didn't arrive (tracking states it has been at the "national hub" since December 23rd!) and the seller has been unresponsive and getting a refund less than 1 hour later!! That's what I call good service.

Indeed. I'll be looking for one that has under 20k on the clock. This one is the 125ps too. :(

10k is quite an expensive first car... Given the risks involved...

Chris's Black Amex should cover it . . . . :)

I do like when a courier (UK Mail, in this case) stipulates an actual time band (13:55pm-14:55pm) for delivery, and delivers 9 minutes into it :)

Unlike say Yodel, who can just about state a probable day

Haha Yeh, when anyone says "between 8:00am and 9pm" I get a strong urge to kick them in the balls!

& that includes the female call handlers too . . . .

I do like it's looking promising for a hard frost tonight again :) We had one last night, it's nice to have proper winter weather again :)

It's 0° on the garage wall thermometer at the moment - it's all good for the garden, keeping the bugs and diseases in check :)

Already teaching my kids about cars lol. They know the difference between petrol and diesel (I. E. They know mines diesel and grandads is petrol). They know the engine makes the car go and the stick let's it go faster backwards and forwards, moreso they know more than every BMW owner out there. They know what indicators are and what they are used for.

Ones 5 ones 3,got our babies hearing test over and done with, 2 weeks old and we are happy he can hear us, so I shall be starting his lessons In a couple of weeks time lol.

I go down the line of theory first, learn how it works, them learn how the road works and then learn how to put them together. My kids are very inquisitive when it comes to cars and driving I can ask a question and they will often, even when they are wrong, they are closer to the answer than a lot of drivers in Kent... They know the answer in a roundabout way lol.

Now wherever would you get that idea from!?

Oh Yodel do normally deliver on time, it is the actual delivery method they mess up. Either delivered three streets away or a FRAGILE marked package thrown over a high fence. Their customer advisers are mentally impaired too...

I remember calling them and spending 5 minutes talking about how the driver did not knock on the door, went straight to the back of the house and threw a fragile parcel over a fence onto patio tiles thus smashing the (glass Christmas decorations) contents to pieces, then speeding off before they could come out of the house and confront him. Her response? "Umm... So you wanna complain?".

That was a moment I had to press the mute button and utter a few words I didn't want recorded!!

My daughter used to come milking with me at home lol she was 2 at the time, still comes to work with me on the weekends at my new place and she's 5 now, loves farming and calves, we have about 100 calves and they all have names. She loves farming and Ashley( just under 2) loves all the machinery. I moaned at the other half because she calls everything tractor, She moans back and I'm like no your educating my kids wrong... Thats a combine, not a tractor, that's a telescopic pivot steer loader, not a tractor, that's a skidsteer not a tractor, same with toys lol. I'm not having my kids grow up idiots. Oh Amelia also knows where her food comes from and what animal. Loves farming, gives you a sense of pride when you see how clever our girly is etc and not fussy with her food.

my grandsons helping it the garage passing tools e.t.c and watching how things are done , and thy allways remember how I did it

I do like having a good day where I am thinking positively...

i like being able to hand back my grandkids :)

I do like having a completely dry long walk with Brandy. :)

Whilst there was still mud about, it had become stiff frozen mud with the heavy frost

We saw on the way out, all the people without Fords, who lack quick clear windscreens, having scrape and spray, before they could set off

Why do people do that!?

Unless you have an inch of solid ice, just start the engine and put the blower on for five minutes!!

Some people are idiots, honestly.

being out on my motor bikes
