Sync 2 sat nav update

Featured Replies

Hi all, i got a 2015 ford focus zetec s the other day with a sync 2 system! Anyway the sat nav was an old one and needed updating! I got one this morning of a bloke that took it out of his car and put it in mine! It worked fine in his not an issue and he said would probably just need me to reset the sync ( which i have now done with no joy )

i’ve even tried putting the old sd card back in and all i keep getting is sd card error and insert sd card.

can anyone help me on this.

cheers

Have you applied all the updates for Sync 2 not just for SatNav? Also check, and if need be, repair the SD Card on a PC to ensure they've not corrupted. I'd also suggest making a back up of the card to be safe, but you'll need to regenerate the serial licence on the card to use it.
