Chris_Y
Got a Ka MK1 1.3. The AC will blow consistently cold upon a cold engine start up and will do this for an entire journey. If, however, I stop the car, switch off and then back on again it will only blow very hot. I know about the heater control valve issue with these but can't understand why it would make a difference if the car stopped running then was restarted... Any ideas anyone? Thanks. Simon_Templar
I have the exact same issue Plus, we already have changed the HCV (twice to be sure) and the control panel Any help would be *extremely* appreciated Thanx
tomshepp
The car stops hot and the evaporator is cold . Then it will not blow cold air. The pump clutch comes in with a smack? If so, there is SOME pressure in the system. I would suspect a droplet of water blocking the orifice and would change the drier and recharge the system.
