Dan62
Have you located the start inhibit relay in the battery junction box? Can you hear it click when the key is turned to start position?
Daihatsu dave
I found a starter relay small blue . Is there 2 or just 1 ? The starter relay I have found there is no excitation feed to the relay but there is power feed switch side of the relay

Dan62
That's it. Remove the relay and check for voltage at connector pin 1 with the key turned to start position. Connect meter ground at battery/body. NOT pin
Daihatsu dave
No voltage as of last night but will check again now
Daihatsu dave
Nope no voltage at all
Dan62
OK. The diagram I have shows a 43 pin connector in the passenger A pillar, which is between the key start switch and the relay pin 1. The diagram might not be accurate but look for the connector and reseat it if its there. Also, this connector has the blower motor circuit passing through it. Daihatsu dave
Ha ha . Done 4 wire so far. Very awkward place to be in the grommet in the bulkhead. Thank you so much for your time in helping me especially as a new member .
