That comment seems a little unfair ….

the point is that Fword are doing what the fwuck they want! They are ruthless business people ( just look at the plight of workers at Saarlouis and Valencia pit against each other and having to reduce workforce by 40%)

It’s the lack of communication from Fword to dealership and other agents as to what is actually the plan for production… that is pwissing us all off!

Very nice!  Looks great!!  My ST Line Vignale 155ps auto was ordered October last year, still no firm news on a build date☹️  Dealer says build date on Ford system is June, I asked Ford if this was correct…. Their reply “we have no further updates at this time”.  Doesn’t sound too hopeful! 🙄  

I feel your anxiety Dave, but is it really asking too much to be let in on the plan and sequence of production for our car orders?

life in general is tough enough without Ford playing mind games with us!

I tried that tactic on the Ford chat service, didn't work. Just got told to keep in touch with my dealer

Exactly, that live chat it's useless... 

So the latest update on my order (September 21) is:

Factory has canceled the build commitment.

Whatever does it mean.

I think that I will not receive a car, before my lease ends. Will buy out the mk4 as lease ends sell it on the market - will earn money on this car as prices went up and buy an electric bike :-).

Looks very nice, can see the facelift on the front end there. About the rotary selector it’s been known for a while now only the diesel will continue with the 8 speed rotary and the mh having the 7 speed. Has it got remote engine start? I’m thinking possibly only the rotary can have that feature. Sync4 what if any physical buttons are left?

Just picked up mine today which has the linear shifter. Remote start works perfectly fine 🙂

It’s good, really responsive and looks so much better than the Sync 3. Very pleased

You’ll have the digital dash too? I want one but lead times etc are crazy. Also would prefer a full or plug in hybrid focus .

Yep. I’m really liking the MHEV. I’ve come from a 1.0L manual and this new one feels A LOT quicker 😂

It’s similar performance as my 182 auto 

I’ve not driven one yet , and holding off for a full hybrid whether that’s Ford or not

Agreed!  I can understand Ford don’t want to give exact dates in case plans change but surely they must have an expected timeline for whatever alternative plans they have put in place for parts supply etc.   If they haven’t then we/they are really in trouble! 🤪

Agreed!  Ford chat is about as much use as a chocolate teapot! 🤪 

I'm starting to hate Ford because there is 0 to no chances that I'll get my car this year...I just found out that the Saarlouis factory it's only producing the Style versions(without Sync 4, B&O and other extras), and the biggest issues it's that right now they're not able to fit modems into the cars, and this is not nice...I honestly regret that I bought this car that will never appear, my deadline it's march 2023, if I'll not get the car by then I'll lose the 3000 euro discount for destroying 2 old cars(this is the law in our country, you get max 3000 euro  discount if you destroy 2 euro 3 or older cars).

I can't get the money back from the dealer since it's mentioned in the contract that the money are non refundable 😞 I hate myself for deciding to purchase a car from Ford, I did this because I analyzed every single car in this market that fits my budget and Focus was the best option, but it looks like it'll never arrive... 😞

My dealer emailed me yesterday.  They seem to be under the impression that production of the sync 4 models should resume in July this year.  Not sure about the modem problem, haven’t seen any information about that.

It's about this, and this are not happy news for us the customers... :(( 

OK, but it's not 100% sure if the production will resume, and if it'll resume, there are a lot of backlog orders, and for those who ordered this year, it'll take a lot of time to wait for the cars...

Not actually happened yet it seems but agree doesn’t look great!

don’t know if I’ve linked this correctly but in the light of recent discussion, the factory workers plight doesn’t look great for the near future! And **** knows what quality they’ll turn out if they’re shafted by Ford AND union negotiating muppets!😵‍💫😟

Collected my ST-Line 155 Vignale this afternoon. Not taken it out for a proper spin yet, only driven around town but felt good, sync 4 responsive and really simple to use. Only gripe if I have one so far was that the plastic door protector things weren't included. I thought they were standard across the range. 

EDIT: Just seen on the brochure that the door protectors are optional as part of the parking pack. 

That’s a surprise that they’re not included, especially as no electronics are involved, it’s a mechanical system…could they be ‘frozen’ stuck inside door edges? I think it’s definitely worth a conversation with your dealership/ broker (if bought online like I have ordered through)

 I think I will be ***** if Ford are indulging in down speccing when/ if mine comes…😟
