It's the only component I've not verified only order. 

The easy way is the blinker, all around the headlight and In the normal its only In the lower part. 

I ordered a ST line vignale 155 auto in early march with all options except towing. Have just been told by dealer that it has arrived at Dagenham for delivery next week. This shows that cars are now arriving and there does not appear to be shortages of vital components.

I'm hoping to have mine end of Nov, and ordered at the same time as you, so gives me a bit of confidence.

So, I ordered a ST in mean green start of May 22 when factory orders were closed, informed on 16th Sep 22 order books were open and my order had been placed.  A few days later Ford announced the Track Pack, I enquired and it has taken over four weeks (complete joke) for my dealer to come back with the costings, the price was suitable and I instructed them to amend my order.  They came back and said they can not amend my order and it is now a new order which I can not believe they couldn't add to existing order as was nowhere near going to build.  So basically means my order has been dropped back four to five weeks.

 

Now I may be living in dream land but could it be that Ford have some Track Pack cars built and ready to go. My thinking is that my order had to be a new order and all reports I have seen in the press on Track Pack state deliveries will start from November, bearing in mind they didn't announce it until late September so would be far to late for new orders to be built and delivered in November and even if you had an existing order, if it was due for delivery in November you would be past the point of being able to amend.

 

So am I living in dream land / is it sales hype from Ford that cars will start to be delivered from November.  What are your thoughts.  Its close to impossible trying to get an answer to anything from my dealer.

Went down to the dealership today to see my car and sort out the part ex. Really happy with it, relieved it's finally there since it has been pretty much a year! Unfortunately need to wait until next Monday to collect it but what is another week?

Wait until Tuesday otherwise you'll be losing a months worth of tax for just one day.   

Just picked up my Focus 4.5 Titanium yesterday.  replaced my mk 4.  apart from the infotainment unit and the re-styling of the bonnet, not much different.  You can see that Fords has done some cost cutting in the new version.  A few bits have been removed.

1. Door lock sensors only on front doors

2. No cover on the drivers door key lock.

3. Removed the USB port from in the centre console storage box (but added  a type C to the front.

Still getting used to having all the climate controls on the touch screen.

There is one really annoying thing that Ford has done.  The Mk 4.5 still has a physical button for drive modes, but unlike the mk4 where pressing the button toggles through the modes, when you press the button now it just brings up the mode select on the touchscreen, and you have to press which mode you want, then select the home screen to go back to where you was.  Wish Ford would have added a keyword for the speech recognition to allow you to change the drive mode with your voice. 

Update here: Black ST ordered in feb, after delays etc, it should have been built on 7th october and delivered end of october, they already had chassis number.
I rang my dealer last friday, build date updated on 9th november and delivery 26th november. 

They said the cause of the delay has been "resolved" (so I guess it was the missing part/re-segmentation) leading to this 1 month shift, as several people from here. 
Anyway my dealer told me to ring them the 10th of november to check if it has been really built.

I agree with you on the mode change. Would be better to allow you to use multiple presses to cycle through using the physical button.

Software update in the future hopefully. People will need to complain to make that happen tho....

Picked up my ST Line Vignale yesterday, very happy with it so far. It’s getting dropped off to get detailed tomorrow and have ceramic coatings installed. Will add more pictures once that’s been done 😊

Does the mk 4.5 have the same rattles as the mk 4?

Of course, it's the same engine...The car it's more insulated so you'll hear less the rattling sound 

Now that the 4.5s are arriving what’s sync 4 like? Sync 3 I like but it’s the physical buttons… music pause skip …volume.. map zoom that I use most. Climate I’m not so bothered about as auto climate does it’s thing itself. Sync 3 screen can be a bit laggy though but doesn’t matter so much as the important bits are physical.  Also (I don’t use them) but in the automatic did they keep the paddles?

It’s a mixed bad. I had a 2018 Focus and I really disliked Sync 3 and preferred CarPlay or Android Auto. On the new Sync 4 CarPlay displays almost like its own screen within the much larger screen, it looks disjointed. What I tend to do now is connect my phone but navigate back to the main Sync 4 interface so it looks tidy.

I think it functions overall very nicely and I really like that CarPlay is wireless now. As someone else posted I don’t like that you can’t toggle drive modes by just pressing the button. I like you can use voice commands to change temps but you can’t turn on your heated seats. Loving the remote start. Wish I had specd out a bit more and got the assistance pack for the rear camera and adaptive cruise control but that’s just buyers remorse kicking in lol

I know what you mean! LED lights all round for £250 … been kicking myself about that for 3 years! The reversing camera I’d have liked , I wonder if ford have sorted the issue with water on the camera when it rains. Head up display , B&O stereo , I could’ve had these things if I’d gone for the as standard red paint or the white for £250 instead of the desert island blue. 
Wireless CarPlay I’d use every journey. But live traffic I quite like . Can’t run both on sync 3

For me it's fine, using it for almost 2 months, but it still has moments when's stuttering...About the Sync Updates, idk if they're automatically installing since from September till now, no update was made. 

Also, I hate that on Android Auto, you can't hide the widget from the right, it's really annoying... I don't want to see my phone name or to change the song, I can do this from the buttons on the steering wheel.

Apparently there is a 2 week Autumn shutdown at the plant... Get ready for more delays! 

I don't think i will see my car in November, even though the dealership says otherwise. 

It doesn't really matter, mine is gate released for more than 10 days and its' still laying around in the Saarlouis parking lot...

And the "delivery date" went from 2nd of Nov to 5th then 15th... it's like they are learning to count.

There is no logic to any of this. 

Just a matter of waiting it out and hoping for a quick resolve!

Guys, Gals & Goblins - can someone familiar to ETIS answer me this. 

I ordered my ST Auto with a performance pack, however currently on ETIS it is stating 'Less Performance Pack' 

Does this mean no performance pack or because the Autos PP has less options than the manual are they stated as separates pertaining to the suspension? I.e performance suspension and rear suspension - level 2 etc

Not sure where on the Etis site you see that information but for me it only says:

Focus 2018-, 2.3L EcoBoost, Fantastic Red TC

 If you want more it redirects you to the subscription paid new versions of the site...

Its in the features section on ETIS, gives the full spec of the car. Everything else is more or less correct, bar the PP part.
