Help With Indicator Stalk/switch

Hi all,

Basically last night I accidentally snapped off the indicator stalk of my friends ford fiesta finesse, the old model. The lights still switch on and off and it's possible to indicate left but not right. So it seems as though the wiring is okay and its just the casing. It hasn't completely fallen off and is still hanging on.

Is there anyway to fix it using super glue or anything simple like that? I'm guessing no!

If we need to replace it what needs to be done? Is a whole new unit required or is it possible to just get a new stalk?

    get a secondhand unit from e bay or the local breakers yard, quite a simple job to fit.
