Anyone that went to school in the 90's will probably remember the magic pencil videos on a massive CRT screen mounted on the most unstable wheeled trolley they could find.

Those who were in school in the 60s & 70s, will recall the wooden 12" ruler slap on the back of the hand to ensure a good standard of handwriting 🤣

I only remember the black board rubber hitting me from a distance and covering my clothes in chalk dust . That was a regular occurrence. Oh and base ball bat punishment in p.e. but that's another school era child abuse story for another time and topic🤣

That's probably why I don't like or watch any sport .

Aahh yes, the blackboard rubber. I use to be the duster 'monitor' which included a daily slapping of said rubber with the wooden 12" ruler to clean it. God knows what I ingested over the years. Great times though, before when H&S was invented LOL

Yeah, no h&s . I wouldn't have broke my front teeth on the tarmac floor after falling off a swing at school and loose alot of blood in the process. Still got a chunk of tooth missing. Great times though. 🤣🤣

Swings are ***** dangerous, don't know how they're still a playground staple tbh.  Watched one of my friends break her arm falling off one, we must only have been about 4 or 5.

H&S doesn't even work.  Some of us got stuck on outdoor climbing apparatus...and were not allowed to be physically helped down without a risk assessment, paperwork, and our Mum being called.  :whistling:
