Turning off 'loudness' on the stereo MK7?

Does anyone know how to turn off the loudness on the stereo? Connected a LOC but I've noticed on the odd song where it mainly plays a bass note it needs to be on volume 2/30 and it's still pretty damn loud. Everything else is 20/30 as I've set. Volume 10/20 will blow it it's that loud.

It's like it's compensating when not many other frequencies are playing, but compensating so damn much.
