Hi all bit of a bad first post here..

Picked up our Mondeo 2.0TDCI today, when I fired her up to drive home the engine sounded o.k.

By the time I got home the engine sounds like the cam's are knocking or the t/chain is rattling, is any of those a common fault?

If it helps any when I pulled the dipstick out I saw what for a better word as light blue smoke.
