What is de-tangoing??

It's removing a orange bulb/ orange filter from your indicator and replacing it with a bulb such as silvetec or phillips silvervision (a silver bulb that flashes amber)

Standard indicator bulbs on most cars are orange - and this creates the look of a fried egg in the indicator lens.

De-tango'ing is replacing these bulbs with bulbs which are silver when not lit - such as silver tech bulbs.

I didn't know either when i joined the forum,

its when you change all your indicator bulbs to silver ones like these, Click Here and Click Here

so their not orange like Tango orange drink B) also known as the fried egg look in the lights.

On my focus i had orange indicator covers which i swapped to clear ones, but put an orange bulb in. I now know i failed at de-tangoing it!!

So you changed to the fried egg style side repeater :P
