Zippy
I don't want to rock any boats, or cause any riots, lol. But aren't they trying to ban smoking behind the wheel?
Nipz
But aren't they trying to ban smoking behind the wheel? Yea i believe so, and really hope they do. Its more distracting or at least on par with being on a phone!
Jonny87
I personally believe if your choice to smoke then you should have to deal with all the waste. Personally i dont believe that you should be allowed to flick it out of the window because its easy for you. I would love to flip all my sweet packs and bottles out of the window, but dont because its not nice for other people to look at. I do deal with it But aren't they trying to ban smoking behind the wheel? I'm quite close to politics and no they are not

hedgepig
Driving People who hog the middle lane on the motorway and never move over. People whose music is so loud you can hear it inside your house. People who constantly talk on their phone whilst driving. People who constantly drive at 15-20 mph everywhere. People who drive so close to my bumper. People who have their rear fog lights on--period. Rubber band powered cars that are pimped up to the nines. Reggies who cannot park to save their lives--why are these people always in front of me? People who never acknowledge when I've given way. People who think they own the road--I pay my tax too! General Braggers--if you've got a black cat theirs is even blacker. Smokers who inflict their smoke all over you. Call centres--what's happened to personal service? Any kind of canvassing--if you don't want the answer of FRO then don't knock. People who block my driveway or park in my space.......GRRRRRRRRRRR. People whose phones / mp3s etc are so loud you can't think. Salesmen who think they can rip you off. Any aspect of shopping unless it's car related. Interest rates on credit cards--the world's in recession--interest rates are 0.5%--theirs are a massive 15-20%--why? On that note, I'll shut up (for now) before I really get on my soap box........................ ;)

Jonny87
cheer up mate for christ sake. youre boring me Grow up geezer. Smoking is a stupidly bad habit, it kills, and its antisocial. But people still smoke and smokers pay a massive price for this, both in money and in health, because they enjoy smoking, and they accept the price. Unless you personally want to pick up the entire tax burden from smokers then i really do not think you can comment. What will it be next? The obese? the drinkers? Just grow up and think about what you are saying
Nipz
people do smoke behind the wheel, if non smokers want to pay more tax then complain about it, because smokers pay a hell of of a lot of tax You pay the tax because you want to smoke. End of. Same with if you want to drink, you pay the tax on that. End of. Same with if you want to drive, you pay tax on that. End of. You pay the tax on things that you want to do in life, if you dont want to pay the tax then dont do it! Simple.

KeithC
Whilst I remember, another thing that annoys me. Why the hell is petrol priced at .9 of a pence, ie 99.9p. There's no such denominations of .9 of a pence, well not in my world anyway. Why can't they just change it to £1 or 95p and stick the decimal point where the sun don't shine. And that takes me onto another price issue, shops, instead of making everything £xx.99, round the sodding thing up to the nearest quid. Even the least intelligent people know that £29.99 is under £30, but at the end of the day, it's £30 whether priced at £29.99 or £30 and that extra 1p saving will not make an iota of difference to anyone buying it. Oh, and anyone says "Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves" , well, sod off, you're either Scottish or from Yorkshire (Yes, that is a generalisation, one of my pet hates, but I'm on a roll now, so never mind). Has anyone tried going to Argos and paying for a sun lounger with a 3 foot high bottle of Bells Whisky stuffed with pennies. No, me neither and I aint starting now. They even do it with cars, look at us, we'll sell you a car for under £15,000. Yes, you read it right, it's £14,995. No it's not, it's fifteen !Removed! grand. Am I going on now? I thought about starting a thread about things I like, but I doubt think it would be any good, or long. :D Oh, another thing I've just thought off whilst writing this, those sodding square touchy things on lap tops, god do I hate those. Takes me about 10 minutes to do anything with that, so I always use a mouse instead.
Mark M.K
It's all a mind game with the £0.99p thing. Shops love to do it as most people think "wow! thats cheap..." Only shop what don't do it is John lewis i belive. They keep it simple
