Anyone use the M58 Eastbound between Jct 4 and 5 have you seen the state of the potholes there ,And thats on a motorway.

Go to overtake someone at the wrong place and you could be in serious trouble at 70mph.

Think motorways are highways department responsibility not local councils. Good luck with that claim.

I'm more convinced every day that our roads are worse than a third world countries. Perhaps it's a cunning plan by the government to get more money into the economy by us having to constantly repair our cars.

That to me mate? I'm actually over on the Emerald Isle here...I put in a successful claim against the Roads Dep in the north a few years ago over here myself, but unfortunately for my mate who got the damage to his Scirocco wheel, that happened across the border in Donegal, ROI. The claim has to go through the County Council, so pretty sure he has no chance! Their roads are absolutely shockin, but they have some sort of disclaimer after a litany of claims a few years back which removes any liability of theirs to compensate for damage caused as a result of 'wear and tear' to the roads...I'd like to know exactly what sort of damage that does leave them liable to!

Had same wheels on mine and 3 of them were out of shape. Seems common ok mk 6, 7, 7.5 fiesta's. I bought focus mk1 wheels as alot stronger and same fitment
