I wouldn't put st engine in as buy the time you pay for everything you can just buy a st. I had a face lift st replica but with slandered 2.0 petrol engine.

I'm doing most of it myself. I wanna do it as a project for uni. Gonna try and take all apart and put all back together.

To be honest bro I can't help engine wise but I'm sure the ecu will need reprogrammed for the engine etc but hopefully someone else can help or as the same question on the st owners club

You are completely right you can get a ST for like £4,000. Technically this is not a viable project. I just get a ST and then the engine in that I can mod. Thanks for your help. I was actually gonna do something stupid.
