...Total embarassment, I've decided to change the oil and filter myself this weekend, something I haven't done in awhile, but I thought should be simple enough. I now find that I cannot find the drain plug as the area is covered with a sump shield...Help!

    Is it just a plastic sump shield? You will need to remove it first, should be held on with torx screws

    Thanks stef123, it is actually two metal plates. My mechanic seems to just reach up and pull! I think since I am committed to doing this, I will take of the guards.
