I don't like finding thee large dark dried on skid marks on the upstairs hall light beige carpet, on my return to the upstairs:eek:

Although it will be a doddle to remove them remove with my Vapourtek 3500 commercial cleaner and return the carpet to the condition you could, if you so desired,  eat your dinner off it:smile:

Brandy clearly had some overnight leakage which had got it on to her tail.  As she struggled to get all her paws co-ordinated upon her waking up,  she sat down tail first a couple of times as she worked out which paw went where to walk forwards:mellow:.  Whereupon her leakage transferred from her tail to the carpet, in three long streaks:ohmy:

I do not like when I give the right amount of gap and then another driver thinks am giving them space to cut in.

I don't like the lack of traffic management outside the new Lidl, it's cutting off flow to and from the industrial estate behind them.  It used to take 5 minutes to get to the RM depot with the mail, tonight was 40 minutes, 35 of which was stuck outside Lidl, in a gridlock

When Tesco and Asda put hypermarket size stores up, the Council made them put up traffic light controlled junctions, with dedicated filter lanes in and out of their stores, as a condition of their planning approval.  I wonder why the council didn't insist on Lidl doing that:unsure:

I'm with you on that, and so would Brandy be, the number of times she's slid off the seat as I've had to brake firmly to avoid the cutter upper drifting across me

I don't like having an Audi SUV right up my back-side on the drive home from work tonight.  I was cruising at 55MPH in an NSL keeping good distance from the car in front, but it wasn't good enough for him seemingly.  The road was completely clear ahead, but instead of overtaking he was happy to stay behind me, literally a few feet from my bumper.

If killing people was legal, I'd have followed him home and slowly tortured him.  Idiots like that don't deserve cars.

I've had a run on people like this recently.

I just don't get it.

The other morning it was slippery (mainly frost with icy where there had been standing water), so I was taking it easy and at or slightly under the speed limits. I had someone right up behind me darting like they were trying to overtake....in a 30 zone....

On the way home this evening I had a Cayenne up behind me on a country road, he/she was so close I could have switched off my headlights and used theirs.

Had an idiot like like this today. Joined the dual carriageway no one was there with good speed up joined the slow lane yet dude came up right behind me and was honking. I moved to the middle lane to allow him pass and he still followed me.

I had that this morning driving through a village on the way into work, and I hate to report that it was a 56-plate Mondeo...

That Cayenne sounds just like my instance tonight.  His headlamps were illuminating the road better than mine!!

Makes you wonder how their minds work, doesn't it?

I get this occasionally in the truck, I try not to let it annoy me but sometimes, usually when it gets to the point where I can't see the car in the mirrors, it gets the better of me!!! Sometimes a quick dab on the brakes helps(yes I know you're not supposed to do it!) or on some occasions I'll just ease off the throttle and let it slow right down until either they overtake or start leaving a safe distance.

Yes, sometimes illuminating the brake lights is all it takes, but that is rare.  Slamming the brakes on as if a child had just ran out into the road is more effective, but also increases the risk of being rear-ended...  If I found myself driving a Vauxhall (or another car I didn't care about) though, I would have no qualms in doing that.

I've seen an Audi Q5 tailgating a bus before. I think drivers of certain German cars are just trying to out do each other at this point...

I think I know the issue there.  The second car, even when tailgating the front one, has a better view ahead and more reaction time due to the extra distance of the front cars lights.  As a following car it makes it seem like the front one is dawdling, but as the front you can barely see anything between headlights coming towards you and dark hedges overhanging so just have to guess your road position, not even any lines to go by on the road I'm thinking of.  I get the perspective from both of those cars on a road I drive several times a week lol.

What annoys me more than anything else atm is people that can't keep up with traffic, when the lights change they don't move immediately, or the stop start takes a couple of seconds to get going, or they're waiting for a turn arrow when its already clear on green, or they creep with an auto so a huge gap opens in front and there's clutches slipping behind, or you let them out while rolling yourself and they take so long to move you regret doing so, or they were doing something else and not watching at all.  Traffic would flow far smoother without these people, I reckon its adding several minutes to a simple town journey tbh.

That said, I haven't lost my rag with any drivers for a while now, no tailgating, brake checking, flashing or angry horns for a good few months, can't say it's made me any calmer but it's made me less likely to be followed and stabbed at my destination.

Whilst I've sort of got used to Brandy having little accidents and getting bits on her tail or around her rear fur, as her arthritis is making it harder for her to balance as she squats:mellow:

Rather than having her own poo stuck to her tail, Brandy has come in from a wander outside with a big lump of someone else's smeared into the bushy part of her tail:sad:, looks like fox, with an outside chance of badger..  it's hard to tell if she fell on to it and the dragged her tail through it, or it just attached itself to her as walked over it:unsure:

I failed to get out of the way quick enough, as she began her " shake my fur dry routine" and got caught in the tsunami of water that she shook off.

At this point I'm much wetter than she is:sad:

Brandy started her shake with seconds of me turning the shower off, so I was too close the action.  Sometimes she'll wait until I've lifted her out of the bath, when I can move backwards to around 2½ metres away, or in the hall if quicker enough

Is he a Rhodesian Ridgeback, or a Mastiff?

My mate used to have a Rhodesian Ridgeback that would pin him and girlfriend down to the bed.  In order to get up, they had to use the duvet and roll him off, in the manner of parchment paper when rolling up a swiss roll:laugh:  He weighed more than both of them put together:laugh:

Brandy weighs 16Kg now as an older dog, down from 17Kg when she was younger

No he just a Labrador but he's old boy 12 years old and is 37kg
