Things I Don't Like

This means there's no work for the company to do (so no picking and packing costs) as the product is stored at an Amazon warehouse ready for distribution by Amazon staff.

There's been a bit of a stink about this recently though - If stuff doesn't sell within whatever period Amazon have agreed (or more likely) imposed on the supplier, they start charging big storage fees or dumping stuff if the original supplier can't afford to pay the fees or come and take the stuff back.

I'd better be careful what I say about Amazon though - I'm typing this on one of their tablets (which is actually pretty good), so they can probably detect what I'm typing and may send a hitman! 😀

😂😐 Watch out for John Wick 🤣👍

I'm a prime member; the app came on the upstairs televisions, so all rooms have my membership,

The two of my kids also have Amazon Fire tablets which they can get free games on with my prime membership; the Amazon tablets are great for kids as I can administer account set the time which there tablet turns on/off aswell as the apps they use.

@Turvey while you have prime you should watch the GrandTour and theres a meatloaf documentary I saw recently too Bat Out Of Hell (Classic Album). Check it out now on Prime Video! https://app.primevideo.com/detail?gti=amzn1.dv.gti.f2b4e01b-234b-1287-986c-a3b63da39c9d&ref_=atv_dp_share_mv&r=web

You mean the geeky guy from "Bill and Ted's excellent adventure"? No worries!😀

No 😅 I'm sure you have heard of the movie "John wick" hes a retired hitman and some guy breaks in to his house to steal his Ford mustang and kills his puppy in the process; which was a gift from his wife just before she died of cancer, he tracks down the guy and kills everyone in his path to get to him,

First two movies are worth watching and the third one is in the cinema, some artistic driving aswell as shooting I first saw both movies last weekend.

Well ok, maybe he's a bit harder now than in the Bill and Ted movies!😀

I've been quoted £1070. I'm paying £960 at the moment and it's gone up with an extra no claims I hopefully will have in July 😢

I don't think I've ever had an insurer quote me a renewal (after no claims) cheaper than the last year.  It's ridiculous - so much for loyalty paying off!!

Tbf though, the actual amount stolen is tiny in comparison to the numbers actually on the roads. Anyway, my MK2 is safe as it hasn’t got any new-fangled keyless entry 😂

The mk2 did have keyless as an option but not standard

My Mondeo has keyless entry but I switched it off. Much happier with pressing a remote fob to unlock/lock.

Keyless start not entry here (and OBD disabled)...

Car lasted 18 days trouble free. Went into limp mode 60 miles from home. Lol

Luckily nothing to serious. Oil pressure control solenoid.

I don’t like leaving my car in reverse when parked on a hill,  then forgetting and stalling it straight away after turning it on with lots of jerking 😂😩.

We managed to get an air lock in the fuel system on our diesel Honda CRV after filling up today. Thankfully all sorted by a combination of me using the built in primer (!) and the AA resetting all the warnings that had resulted (low rail pressure, throttle position sensor, etc). I was fearing the worse, but ended up learning a lot about diesel fuel systems!

Get into the habit of starting a car with the clutch pressed in 😉

I'm not sure if I was taught it before my test or not but I seem to think it makes it a wee bit easier on the starter etc....... and you don't stall it 😀

Some of my colleagues always leave vehicles in gear even when parked on the flat.
I routinely check i'm in neutral before starting up, all it takes is a sideways flick of the gearstick with my palm to confirm.

Modern cars tend to shout at you if you don't press the clutch to start.  However I still know people that have started with the clutch down, then immediately lifted it, not realising the car was in gear, and hit another car or even their house! 🤦‍♂️  I'm the only person that drives my car and never leave it in gear, yet I still always check it's out of gear before starting!

The thing is, I almost always wobble the gearstick or push the clutch down when I start. It just happened to be that time I had a total brain freeze and forgot!

My other half is a sod for leaving it in gear! That and leaving the seat all the way forward...

Need to watch this. Saw it on the listings on prime but didn't know about it. Did watch Charlie's angels a few days ago however I've just been playing the old GTA games late night. There was a deal on PSN for all 3 GTA games for £11.50

I don't like seeing cars ads with 'smoke and pet free' on them...with a blatant child seat inside!  Leaky children make just as much mess and smell inside cars as pets, if not worse...  😒

Could also count the owner 😂. The previous owner of my car said it had a new clutch, cleaned EGR, injector seals and a mountune remap. Bought the car and he said he'll send the paperwork of those stuff. Nothing back ever since so have the impression he was lieing. Contacted mountune also and sadly they said there's no record saying the car had been mapped. Don't want to discriminate even though its true but there is a certain type of people me and dad have experienced to stay clear of when buying a car.
