Things I Don't Like

I use the banking apps once or twice a week since getting a decent phone, haven't used online banking this year at all!  I use fingerprint unlock rather than passkeys though, can the virus steal my finger?

I don't like the advert for Amazon where the dog licks it's owner's face.... including her mouth! 🤮

You have seen where dogs lick haven't you?

Our dog gives proper hugs, puts his paws around my neck and licks my cheek or ears while whimpering ☺️

Cheek or ears, I could accept. Mouth? Nope! People have died, allegedly, from letting a dog lick them on the mouth.

lol☺️

I don't like that I've just got one of my Amazon orders and one part of an item appears to be broken.
The item in question is a Christmas present for someone and I obviously don't want to be giving it to them with a broken part.

Go on to your Amazon account order

And inform them of the broken item,

I've returned a few items with them in the past and they refund immediately; there pretty good worse if it was a seller on Ebay and PayPal would be February by the time you got a refund

If you can; purchase again now and return the existing one as broken

I did send the seller an email straight away. Amazon have said it could be 2 days before I hear anything.
The seller is in Germany so they might not have time to send me another.

That's why I don't buy from eBay. A friend has had 4 orders not turn up in the last month.

But another one now anyway, return the damaged one later 😉

Only had it a week and it’s filthy 😡

I don't like people at this time of year...I mean, all year really, but particularly now it's like all the arseholes come together to make one constant stream of arseholery...

I just cannot understand the ignorance of people 'parking' on a 30 degree angle with indicator on, half on the road and half on the path on a dark, wet, busy two way road causing utter carnage when they could've driven a few yards further and into a side road!?  If it was once then fine, but there were loads doing it last night!  Presumably they're the same people that see you coming and indicating right on a roundabout...with their own exit obviously blocked...but decide to pull in front of you anyway and stop on the roundabout forcing an emergency stop to avoid T-boning them!  Yesterday at the supermarket I couldn't get my trolley through to the boot because some twerp had parked at such a bad angle next to me...and they had also managed to reverse so far into the bollard behind that their plastic spare wheel cover had a massive dent in it!  These people are allowed on public roads! 😳 I tried to help some old man that got his wheelchair stuck on a display stand this morning...and wished I hadn't as I then had to listen to his life story, and for some reason he kept grabbing my arm during the story!  And don't even get me started on the fact that Sainsburys have chosen the week before xmas to move all of their stock around so no-one can find anything...not helped by those that stop in the middle of a 4 way aisle junction to speak to someone, they apparently haven't seen all year, causing a traffic jam in the store...then they look put out when you kindly ask them to move! 😮

Lol, just to cheer you up I'm awarding you my vote for "Best New Word of the Day"!😀

@TomsFocus I'm convinced supermarkets change stuff about so customers spend more time, and money, in store 😉

Well known fact they do and for exactly that reason. Been on TV many times about this. Unfortunately my 2nd cousin previously worked for Tesco's creating a computer program to do exactly this detailing excatly where items should go and for how long . Bit more complicated than that but essentially he decided where your biscuits went. Lol

Well, I didn't know that!! 😮 Someone should tell them it doesn't work though...I spent about a tenner less than I was intending to and topped up at Tesco later on.

I did find the Sainsburys documentary series pretty interesting over the last few weeks, not sure if any of you saw it as well.  They even showed one store refit and all the unhappy customers!

Yeah, drives me and the Mrs nuts! Just when you find where everything is, they move it!

It goes contrary to the way you would normally lay out a warehouse (assuming picking is by humans, not machines) you would try and minimise the time it takes staff to find stuff and the distance they have to walk, to maximise productivity.

And yes, we're like Tom - we'll only take so much wandering about (particularly if we can't find anyone to ask) before the Mrs storms off and goes elsewhere!😀

I'm not sure if I've posted this before but here goes...

I don't like a certain number of senior staff at work right now. I'm not alone in having this feeling and my line manager specifically is absolutely dejected after recent decisions, one made at the last moment this evening when leaving the office.

I'm not sure if our team will be around much longer with the number of people on sick leave (genuine reasons) and the impending heavy workload getting far worse. The complete lack of support from those above us is killing any spirit left in the team and it's only going to implode if nothing is done to reverse some of the decisions made.

Yes I have a job at this current position in time, but I'm not sure I want to be in it much more.

@TomsFocus it's getting to that time of year where people are going out getting presents for Christmas. Sadly theres some stupidity.

Today took me more than an hour to find parking in the hospital car park. Just bugs me when someone comes after me looking for parking then takes a place where someone had moved from. Obviously can't say anything there.

Also was sad to see a patient who was sadly deteriorating. Saw her family come there and in tears. Heard she was in a car accident 😢

True, not only presents but also food, drink, decorations, trees, visiting Santa's grotto, plays, fayres, visiting people they don't visit all year etc...  The worst time of year for weather and travelling is the one all of those things are happening!  I'll fully admit I'm unbearably irritable at the moment as well though, every little thing seems to be winding me up until the inevitable explosion.  Which will most likely be today.  I've got to travel across town for another health assessment this morning and I'm absolutely dreading it.  I know there'll be so much traffic as well as roadworks and inconsiderate drivers etc, then I think I'll be the same looking for a parking space...there are some free ones nearby but I've got very little chance of getting one today.  I don't really drive into town all year, but especially around the xmas period, don't really have a choice in this one though.  Tuesday mornings town drive was meant to be reducing anxiety for todays but it had the opposite effect!

Think I'll have to add depression to the list after seeing the MPG of 12 miles of town driving! 😮 :sad:IMG_20191219_105931613.thumb.jpg.e0f159834eef1eef6b55e4024e6c4c26.jpg

@TomsFocus hopefully it goes well 👍.

I'm now getting stressed out about my course. Got results of my first assessment and sadly failed that getting below the pass mark 😢. The teacher thankfully was supportive saying this assessment is only 20% of the module so just hope I do really well in the exam as that's 80% to get a good overall result for the module. Makes me worried about the other assessments I handed in if they are good.
