Things I Don't Like

@TomsFocus hopefully it goes well 👍.

I'm now getting stressed out about my course. Got results of my first assessment and sadly failed that getting below the pass mark 😢. The teacher thankfully was supportive saying this assessment is only 20% of the module so just hope I do really well in the exam as that's 80% to get a good overall result for the module. Makes me worried about the other assessments I handed in if they are good.

They let me leave without a straight jacket so I'd count that as successful...  Traffic wasn't actually too bad although I did take the ring road instead of heading straight through town.  Parking was a pain though, just kept driving up and down the parallel free spaces until someone left...however it was an i10 that left, not quite so easy to squeeze the Golf in their gap!

Bad luck on your assessment.  Were you far off the pass or almost there?  Hopefully the others will be better, also good that your teacher is supportive!

So 50% and over is a pass however I got 46%. Had to do a 'news and views' article which basically is an article talking about an article. I think I might of not fully understood the specific information on what the article spoke about. The time frame for doing and submitting this was 2 weeks plus I've never done something like this which the teacher actually stated. Have the exam in 3 weeks so need to revise properly for it plus another exam. Also need to revise for the numerical reasoning tests so I hopefully do well in the application for the training I want to go in.

Was told that it's a problem if my grade falls below 50% overall for the module.

Ever get the feeling you're lacking a bit of power?  I can understand the truck driver not seeing the car there, but not feeling it!? Goes to show the VW build quality though, but I'd imagine the driver will be feeling a bit Starry Eyed now.

The driver was one of the guys from CarThrottle.

Ellie Goulding was in the Range Rover, what are the chances of all that, lol.

Saw this. Believes its in my area 😬

@TomsFocus, those things can push 500bhp and 2500nm of torque so a little old Golf might not make too much of a difference to power. I would've thought he'd have heard the schreeching tyres though!

One of the many transport firms around us had similar incident with one of there truck/drivers. That was filmed by a passenger in another car . That truck driver didn't notice the car in front either.

Yeah, I understand he clipped the Golf while changing lanes and flipped it round into that side on position. You might have thought he'd at least have felt a slight tremor. I like the sound of 2,500 Nm torque though - bet you'd have no problem with hills!😀

Car's been absolutely filthy for last couple of weeks with no opportunity to clean it, apart from keeping glass clear. So, I don't like finding today that a dollop of mud on the front end, near the Ford badge, was concealing a big stone chip. Must be from a couple of weeks ago, when I picked up a chip in the screen -  guess it hit the front end first, ricocheted off and hit the screen. Grrr! Another job for after Xmas.😠

The front spoiler on mines got its first stone chip today, luckily not too big.

I'm kind of happy to get 57% on another assessment yesterday so a pass mark. Man UCL are tough with their marking system. Can sort of see why the student satisfaction isn't great there. I believe their criteria they give out for assessment as so simplistic.

I don't like missing the dentist app't yet again.  Had an awful morning with non-stop IBS issues...was like wiping a felt tip...  In the end I just clenched and left about 5 minutes late but still had 25 mins to do a 15 minute journey.  First main road was totally blocked (potentially roadworks ahead, couldn't see), so turned round and went through the smaller roads, which were all flooded!  Got to the car park 5 minutes late...and no spaces at all, spent another 5 minutes driving round trying to find one.  Nearing 15 mins late time I got in so it was cancelled and had to rebook for Feb next year.  Fed up with everything feeling like a constant battle all the time.

There's been a few times I had to rearrange my dentist appointment because I found I have a uni lecture on that day. That training I want to go in they are doing an open day all the in Manchester on the 8th however I can't go because I have an exam on that day. Thankfully they said they'll record the sessions so hopefully I can see that.

Eh no no not atall

Just complains when I accidentally wake her ip when I'm getting showered and dressed to go to work,

We can't have a dishwasher because she wont or physically can't clear off the plates before inserting,

Trips the heating by putting on the immersion and the boiler st the same time, resulting in having to open the boiler outside & reset it,

Gets €500 cash & €500 food voucher from me for Christmas well the voucher was from work; then complains about the cost of my tooth,

Wont write a list then go to the shop in the car; instead makes numourous trips across the day which costs me more on Diesel.

But I'm sure I have my flaws aswell; nobody's got it 100% 😅

I'm offended:

Theres a rumour going around about you saying that you spend your spare time watching people whom are in receipt of unemployment benefits and you are allegedly reporting them to the benefits for carrying out undeclared work such as painting, building or operating as a mechanic.

In Ireland; being on the scratcher or the dole is to be in receipt of unemployment benefits

Oh, didn't know what a scratcher is. I've heard of "street" though, that what you apparently have in the towns and city's.  We have avenue, walk ,grove, crescent. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

The last time I ratted on  anyone was a garage I used to work for. They were doing dodgy MOT's so told the dvsa . They did the surveillance for me. Result was garage had there mot licence suspended for 7 years. Ha ha . Serves them right for asking me to do dodgy mots
