A 13A Plug might always have the cable coming out at the bottom, but plug tops do not follow this convention.  Some out of the top, which means the cable will then hang down from a wall mounted socket, and some won't fit into some timers !  Some USB plug tops are the same, USB sockets in all directions !

Why can't all plug top cables come out the bottom!

Fit the socket upside down on the wall,

Well I would, but some of these are in two four way extenders screwed up behind the modesty panel on a desk, feeding everything from an Anglepoise to a Zip Drive ! (I'm kidding, honest, stopped using zips a long time ago!)

For the Timer, I now feed it to an extender, but the spacing on extenders is probably based on a BS 13A plug, but plugtops (modems/printers etc) can do what they like !  I have USB plug tops with the USB socket on the top, bottom, sides and face, every side apart fromthe one with the three big brass bits!

I've done similar; was the week before Christmas, my job always give us one week's wages as a Christmas bonus, 

But rather than us paying tax on a full week; they give us €500 of it as a shopping voucher for Tesco, the government allows companies to reward there staff tax free up to a maximum €500 rest goes through the wages, 

Anyway; I got the voucher; but didn't open it until I was at the checkout in Tesco after purchasing batteries, crackers, wrapping paper and lots of bits which I would require in an attempt to use the voucher rather than my cash, 

Got to checkout opened the envelope and this year they hadn't given a voucher for Tesco; instead they gave us a voucher for Dunnes stores as they were giving the company free cups for the canteen in exchange for the business,

So I had to pay cash for lots of miscellaneous items which in some cases were more expensive than elsewhere but I bought there because it was going on the voucher; but sadly I ended up paying cash. 

 

Think someone at the Walkers factory was having a giggle...  Twice in 2 days I've had bags that were only just sealed at the bottom...meaning the bottom popped and showered my laptop in crisps the second I tried to open the top.

Can’t remember the last time I tucked into a bag of crisps.I have a flat stomach though.                             😁

That's why the bags pop open! If you keep crisps in the laptop then open the (lap) top it will make a mess.😂😂😂

I'm also 6ft 3 in tall and that's when I'm lying down. 😂😂.

But seriously 6ft 3 in and converted fat ***** stones to fat ***** kg and I'm more than the equivalent of Tom X 2 and a bit. Scary thought, 2 Tom's. 😂😂

When I go for my annual check up the nurse seems quite impressed that I can still see my feet when I look down!😀

Annual check up? I'm supposed to have bloods checked every year due to blood pressure tablets that can affect liver/ kidney function etc. Not been contacted this year for covid reasons I guess.

No problem with mine which I had about the usual time - except it took me a while to recognise that the strange figure swathed in scrubs, gown, mask, visor, etc, etc was my usual friendly practice nurse! I had to wear a 😷 as well, of course!

Had all my Bloods done 4 weeks ago,wish i never did now just my normal check up which i aint had for years.

Found a few stuff which aint that good but thats just the way it goes.

The weather in July!! Chucking it down, thunder a lightening. Still going to have my bbq if it kills me! That would be my luck, struck down by lightening. That will get the charcoal burning well. 😂😂
