Flic - this thread has indeed grown, I think most people tend to forget it though as nobody posted on it during the time I've been on holiday!

I got the Sunday night blues! Was at a foodies festival in Edinburgh yesterday, although I think there was maybe a bit more drink than food. Had a bit of a sore head this morning! Great day though

Indeed I have, my car died on May 5th, I had a hire car for around 3 weeks but it's been a real pain.

Well - it got killed actually

Someone kindly pulled out from the right - right in front of me while I was doing 40mph on a dual carriageway. I swerved round him but he cloncked into the back of the me on the driver's side. Bent the rear suspension - so it was a costly job and the insurers wrote the car off.

Uh huh - I was absolutely fine. Second time I'd had an incident in a Ka.

First time my then local dealer didn't attach the wheels properly after a major service (check them folks!) and the rear passenger wheel came off at 60mph. Rolled the car twice that time.

Both accidents - not a scratch.

Sounds like you have someone watching over you Dan! I've never been in an accident thankfully, *touches wood* Have had my fair few close shaves though, I know who's watching over me!

On another note I curbed my ruddy alloy on friday, AGAIN. Not like last time, only small. But annoying none the less...Grrrr.

My neighbour just came to my door to tell me that I had left the map reading light on - was a bit dubious about answering the door at this time of night, glad I did, wouldn't have fancied a flat battery tomorrow morning. Thanks Malcy!!

Not sure about getting it fixed, think I need to face facts that Fabio won't be perfect forever :( It's annoying!! Though my Uncle did say (after I got the other one fixed already, typically) that he can get it done for me for free, as he used to be MD of Kwik Fit and they use a company in Milton Keynes, it would just mean being without my alloy, so I'd have to buy a spare wheel as I only have the foam...So either way it's going to cost me :(
