Advice On Connecting Mk1 Headlights

Hi Everyone

I have a 1996 Mk1 Mondeo 2,5 Ghia

Like many Mk1s, the dipped beam lenses have yellowed and as new ones cost almost as much as the whole housing, I have bought new left and right hand headlamps.

The original headlamps are connected together across the front of the car with a welded bar which I understand I have to hacksaw between the two to remove them.

The two new units have half a bar welded to each one, and each has four holes at the end for connection between the two.

Can anyone please advise whether there is a flange of some sort available to bolt the two halves togeher.
