Hi guys.........I have changed my air filter today but got a bit concerned on a thing. post-64100-0-62867100-1431371475_thumb.p Sorry for using a Mazda engine but it's the first one I found and they are pretty much the same. So.....Where that hose is attached in the housing, is a little dirty and infected piece of something that looks like a sponge to me. I was afraid to wash it and left it there. Can anyone here light me up about that? Can it be changed? or it does not affect the car at all? thanks a lot
