Cars looking top notch, well done.

Gave me some inspiration with my grill, when you removed the horzontal chrome strips from the grill was it difficult to do and did they break at any point?

Thanks and keep up the good work.

I covered the chrome with black vinyl first then went onto the honeycomb grille. The chrome does come off and is only clipped in but leaves holes in the grille which spoil the look.

Wrapping the chrome is your best option but painting it with plastidip rubberised paint is also worth considering.

Was gonna be my next question as I've also thought about painting.

Is that plastidip the stuff that peels off if wanting to remove?  I'm gonna google the stuff. But was thinking about white instead of the chrome.

Yeah that's the stuff. I've used it in the past and had good results and it's lasted. amazon have a selection and here's 1 in white.

So how much different do you reckon the ride will be? Like an ST?

Hopefully not as hard as an ST 😆

So between the ZS and ST? Or just like the ZS?

I'd say somewhere in between due the decrease in ride height the Eibachs will give him, but I'm sure Willy will give us a review once they are fitted

I'll update you guys later but it'll be similar to anyone with a Zetec S with Eibachs.

Good work and nice car as always.

Perminant nights and no holiday in years 😆

Springs and shocks installed and blimey what a firm ride compared to the standard setup. And it's mich lower than I was expecting. Only issue I have is a slight pull to the left which I'm sure is tracking related.

I'm off to work in a bit and will give you a more detailed report later.

Not the positive first impression I was expecting

lf u think it's low now, once the springs have settled it will be even lower

Well I can now clean the roof without a step ladder 😆

OK so after my 30 mile cruise to work I can report back that I had a very pleasurable drive. The roads down south are fairly good quality so absolutely no issues whatsoever. The steering's nice and heavy at speed and light while parking. Great feedback. I've not pushed it to hard but from what I'm seeing I think I'm going to enjoy the Fiesta even more now.

As reported earlier, you do notice strait away how firm the ride is but you soon forget about it. Took the wife and daughter out today and nither noticed any difference which for me is a good thing 😆

So to sum up, I'd definitely recommend getting the Eibachs and if you don't have a Zetec S / Black / Red edition get the shocks upgraded at the same time.

I only have one complaint and that is I'm brassic now till next pay day 😂
