Wheel Refurbishers North-west

Hi all. Have any of you had your wheels refurbished in the North-West area?

Im looking at getting 2 of mine done but I want them done by a recommended company rather than chancing it and getting cowboys.

Ive rang The Wheel Specialist in Ellesmere Port/Chester and they quoted £96 per wheel to strip/repair and powder coat which I thought was rather expensive.

What sort of prices have you lot paid?

They are a franchise though Yunii so im not sure you would get the same service in every branch. Ideally I'm looking for someone who has had personal experience with an outfit near me.:)

I had my 05 plate Mondeo ST TDCi wheels done at the wheel specialist in Swansea & service & the finish was highly professional

Not cheap - but the best imo

I can't recommend them highly enough

Thats 2 votes for The Wheel Specialist then! Im just worried about handing over £200 incase its a rubbish job. I had a set of Mondeo ST 18's done a few years ago at a place in Widnes, Cheshire and was really disappointed with the results, hence being wary now.

I think it's an industry where you get what you pay for - & I just can't see what I know the wheel specialist does, being done for only £200

My 18'' ST TDCi wheels were £96 each & were perfect - even the balance weights were the same colour as the inner rims
