I'm a newbie here so hello all, hopefully somebody can suggest a cause for my problem i would be so grateful if someone could. I have recently started my petrol  1.8 zetec 2001 model after it had been laid up for ten months uncovered to the weather it started with hardly a problem but it began to smell of burning oil accompanied by smoke from behind the cover on the right hand side of the engine. There was no visible signs of an oil leak. under the car. So in hope?
