jimmy46
Hi guys has anyone changed their standard headlights for projector type is it easy and where to get em thanks jimmy
alexp999
It won't be easy doing official Ford ones, you need levelers, ballast, headlamp washers. The latter means different screenwash bottle, bumper, pump, pipes, etc. And then it all needs turning on with IDS. If I wanted projectors, I'd go for something like this instead: http://www.european-parts.net/product_info.php?info=p1645_led-headlights-focus-mk3-black.html

I've Ben looking for RHD ones for aaaaages, just doesn't seem to be any at all :-/ ? Sent from the pub with a pint in the other hand. alexp999
Might be worth messaging them to see if they can be configured for both LHD and RHD. Being projector there might just be a lever to set them.
JW1982
The lever on both original and aftermarket projector headlights is only to temporarily convert the lights from LHD to LHD or vice versa. This will only prevent the lights from blinding other traffic and does not fully convert the light beam. The lever is not a permanent solution. alexp999
I thought maybe the aftermarket ones might be setup to be positioned for either left or right.
