Top respect for sale control 👍 we bought our home then I started on the focus for five year build project Ive only really started changing the house since March this year 😅 I should have stayed with doing the house from the start as most of the things I done to the car were not really worth it in the end regarding bodykit and 18" rims tyres wear out faster and cost twice as much as 16s 😕 my list of Guides

Paddy.t
Few pics from fitting the EGR blank. Easy job. 2x10mm bolts to slacken off. Not even a long enough job to drink a cup of tea. Thats the pipe on right of pic, can just see the flange. Slacken the bolts off. Just slide the blanking plate in. And nip the bolts up. No need to remove any trim, just the engine cover. 5 min job. Paddy.t
Had a faf and fitted my ramair filter from my last car today. Not very pritty at min as Ive used a small rubber adapter seen as both pipes are 70mm OD (different to last car). Have ordered a silocone connector pipe with an ID of 70mm and 100mm in length to use. Paddy.t
First update in a while. Rear fog clear lense mod done.. Due to reversing into a post on holiday. £20 mod so no bother. Did have LED rear fog light but thats packed in so need to order a new one. Heater dials on order. Going to paint the chrome strip on bonnet to match grills. Still not painted calipers. Due some new tyres soon so ill get round to it then. Still running well with remap. Map light has packed in. So new one of those on order. Also ordered two led tube lights for footwells as 1 bulb is poor. Alternator also packed in while on holiday. £140 and a couple of hours later back up and running. Going to see if I can pic a new airbox up as all the screw inserts are knackered and want to see if I can modify the intake a bit. Paddy.t
Small update tonight. New intercooler to inlet pipe is now fitted. Also took the silver inserts out of steering wheel and carbon wrapped them. Have gloss black mirror covers on order. Plan on fly eying the rear lights and side indicators this weekend if I get time. Also got a new interior light on order and two led strip lights for footwells. Have a other square LED lighht to fit in the boot like the one on my other post soon as I get time too. New heater dials lit up.
TangoDaz
Dials look good where did you get them from and how much were they?
Paddy.t
eBay.. £10. Bargain. Today ive fitted the new interior light. Old one didn't work and only had one bulb. This has 3. Led's fitted. Vinyl wrapped the front chrome strip. To match grills. Mirror caps came too but one has a big scratch down it so going to send them back and vinly wrap them instead see as Ive got some left. Waiting for led striplights for footwells. Thought I had enough fly eye for both rear lights but only had enough for one. So waiting on some more of that too. Only cheap bits and bobs but I think its looking much better. Neeeeeds to go lower now. 👍
TangoDaz
Lowering sounds fun but expensive
TangoDaz
Bonnet struts are also a good upgrade did you just fit LED Bulbs in to the new light unit?
Paddy.t
Lowering shouldn't be too bad. It has the sports package with 'handling suspension' so was just going to go for springs. Last car was fine and handled lovely. Yeah just fitted led replacements. Much better. Thought about bonnet struts. Have some in the shed so thought about making some brackets for them to fit. Don't fancy paying £50 plus for a set on eBay.
yunii
Hi mate, awesome looking car .very clean & tidy. Seems a rare model as not seen many. Going by what you say about that st grill you have with slight damage. These are not for Usa models as Usa dont have this model at all . They had one very similar to euro mk1 ( slight different bumpers) their mk2 is damn ugly.a combi of mk2 & mk1 of theirs. Their mk3 is worse. Our mk3 is widely available worldwide. Have a look at my build 'Focus titanium build diary just started... To give you better ideas. The red paint on your car really does stand out. Nice find. Paddy.t
Cheers yuni. Ive seen your build and it looks nice pal. Quite a few people have commented about the interior with the red seats. Regarding the grill, thats what the seller told me. Designed for USA market. Either way they sent me a new one and its spot on. Now toying with the idea of painting bumper under the grill gloss black too. Give it the wide mouth look. Watch this space for fly eye lights and gloss black mirrors. Then going to slowly start having bits hydrodipped. Interior mainly.
