Put some dye in the coolant tank and run the engine if the dye doesn't disappear you have a blockage, simples!

Now, won't the dye simply mix in with the coolant? LOL Besides, I'm sure after 4 years, fault has been fixed 😁

Nope, the 1.8 TDCi just has the "old school" type stat.  (Good suggestion though)
