Strange rumble on start

Hi to all Focus gurus,

One strange question; stopped at the traffic light after 3 hour journey, when moved on strange rumbling noise arose from the front end of my 2009 Focus 1.8tdci. Shifted to the 2nd,  noise was gone. At the second and third traffic light all was fine.

Any ideas what could cause this noise?

Strange having to reply to myself. Found the problem!!! Engine/gearbox mount was gone, hence no vibration damping. Fitted Malo mounting (torque restricor), now if fine!!!

Just in case anyone else has the same problem.

Was it the top or bottom mount?

Rear bottom mount to the frame. Just between the engine and the gearbox. Ford P/N 1751001 (from 7zap).

I replaced mine last year for similar reasons, the centre piece had separated almost entirely from the rubber so it wasn't providing any real support or damping at all.
