Dad sold it for a measly £275.....with 37k on the clock :/ Anyone else care to share?

Jack_P
Why the bajeezuz did you sell that?! Lovely car!! The Fiesta is my first car, i'm sure you all know what that looks like by now!! Urm well tbh i didnt want to, but father Jack_p wanted it off the drive . After that he just put the advert in the paper himself and sold it that day! A week later i see it in the local garage as it was sold to a guy not far from where i live...front end smashed and battered in...wasnt atall pleased! Id like to get another and carry out a squareback G40 conversion B)
Michael P
That would be soooo cool. If i ever needed a van i'd love to do some kind of conversion, i'd make it a wicked van!!
coysht
I had a Mk4 Fiesta as well: Had it for 5 years then scrappaged it (saddly) for my Mk7.

Michael P
Oh! Well, if we're going on what our first drive was, then it was my mum's also!
Maffoo
The Fez will be my first car, just been sharing my dad's up until then...
coysht
Murderer! That looks like a nice one, black ? Dark green actually. It wasn't in quite the condition it looks in that photo (a nice combination of weather and camera).......but it wasn't worth £2000 though, so scrappage was an offer I couldn't refuse! I won't comment on what the condition was like compared to your Fiesta.......
Michael P
Woah woah woah!!! My car WILL be good! To be honest i would have been very tempted to take scrappage if i was in a financial situation to do so, boo :(

Nug878
Peugeot 309 "Zest" 1.9D. Was the first car me and my Dad saw on my car hunt. Was at the back of a Seat/Kia dealership ready to be auctioned off, had no price on it. Car had one owner from new, an elderly gentleman who kept it local. Full service history, all original manuals and paperwork present. Absolute pristine condition, 62,000 on the clock, original tyres. Payed £700 for it, took it home (5 miles away) the next day. Learned in it for a month then inbetween driving lessons. Passed my test, and then 5 months later I got layed off from work. Kept it running on a small stash of money hoping I'd find a job soon after. But no. So had to sell it, got £200 for it with 92,000 on the clock. And it's still going strong in Chepstow (about 10 miles from me). Would have that car back, ANYDAY!

Nug878
I passed first go me :P Ditto. Had a really lucky streak with me learning to drive. Passed my theory test first time 9am on my 17th birthday (before I took any lessons), 11 lessons later I took my practical test and passed with 3 minors ... few months later got a job as a van driver.
