Lenny Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 i did cover most where i could with small paint brush.i didnt have all wiring, i added 2 wires to work it & enable in elm327 DDM & PDM section on gem, but tezza discovered you only need one wire with uk mk3 style switch to work. my mods are clearly not as good as yours. yunii Swap you mate,Your focus is a much better base model to begin with, Rear electric windows, folding mirrors, The Mk3 model must share an earth feed with the wing mirror light unit in some way or perhaps they used the door as an earth, If you bolt a ring terminal to the body this will work as a negative feed, so you too would only require a positive feed, The ford puddle lights would be an easy mod for you now that you have positive feed from the interior light in there already. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

yunii Posted August 30, 2013 Author Share Posted August 30, 2013 sounds like you spent a bit of money on it but that's the joys of us car fanatics yes mate, thats so true, that car had full lom for allsorts & most of them plug & play, like ghia trip computer,was fitted,outside temp sensor, was fitted,washer level sensor,it ich it also had loom for headlamp washers which i didn't get round to,i made trim level combined of st170/ghia & zetec esp, fitted mondeo mk3 autodim rearview mirror, usa tails,usa svt ac/heater silver cover,ghia door cards,radio facia,all blue led converted switches including METAL-MONKEY brush metal speedo facia with blue backlit kit & one off ghia trip computer face in brush metal,i even had a jaguar flip remote key & an upgraded gem with extra features unlocked, as they made a template from my unit.well you know what say, gone is gone but not forgotten, yunii 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
