Heated seats are coming along well!

(Attached images may upset any people with a phobia of blood)

The wound is DEEP. I somehow have all my nerves intact and the man plaster is working. I've ruined one of my best microfiber towels in the panic. It hurts. Alot. I knew I should've used snips or a dremel

maybe worth fitting a Razin voltage stabilizer kit not replica from eBay but an original from the Pivot website

This is like a capacitor for all electronics in the car making it easier on the altinator

considering your running heated seats now aswell as two amplifiers.

just a small bit of advice

I looked into these before I think, but I Was looking at fakes without knowing. I saw somebody talking about a fake and I took the name and googled it. I now know the real name! I'll have one within the next month or two. Definitely before winter really kicks in anyway :)

The seats pull a maximum of 10a a side. And I'm assuming my alternator is between 70-80amps? Combine with the amps and yeah.. I should really stop being tight and just buy one! Haha

I forgot to add, whilst I had the seats out, I removed the footwell lights & remounted them alot neater afterwards. They currently need wiring back into the car as I ran out of time.. and I don't sit in the back so I don't care

Alternatively you could fit a 1 Fared capacitor

and power the mono amp from it aswell as the heated seats,

Would cushion the demand from both.

I've wired the 10" screen to the 1 Fared capacitor along with the mono amp.

IMG_20150620_174111_zpsvsx0q6ee_edit_143

This prevents and drain in the event the screen is playing a DVD or alot of flashing images the capacitor can supply power at a faster rate while the battery fills up the capacitor in its own time.

It's like filling a barrel of water with a hose then taking buckets out of it.

Instead of waiting around using the hose to fill each bucket.

The capacitor is a resivour of power

I've got a 2 farad capacitor in the boot although it's currently just sitting there so people can ask "what's that do?"

I may have to reconnect it. I've just had a look at the voltage stabilizers & peoople are saying they give up to 15bhp gains.. Hahaha

I'd buy one to save the alternator but I don't want the store owner thinking I believe that piece of marketing..

I'm tempted by the raizin & "the big 3" at the same time. I best get saving. I mentioned the big 3 a while back but simply forgot

on a serious note,

This website is the only place to purchase a Genuine Pivot Mega Razin Voltage Stabiliser

link: http://www.pivotracing.com/product/VS-ME

Replicas don't work,

Might aswell be strapping a 8 pack of sausages to the engine bay when fitting a replica,

All eBay stock is replica I can show comparison pictures to back this up but I won't hog your thread

I've documented this before in a dedicated thread with pictures.

Time for A&E. I've been tearing the cut open all day at work. As soon as it started to "stick" I'd lift something or move my arm awkwardly and open it up again

Nurse congratulated me on doing such a good job. This photo was before they accidentally tore it open again whilst cleaning it.

Sent home with butterfly stitches (steristrips). An iodine patch & a lovely dressing :)

My boot build excluding amp, Capacitor & sub may be for sale in the coming months. would anyone be interested? Ask around if you don't mind as I'll be needing it gone. The sub needs recarpetting but the boot floor is perfect

Very clumsy of you there Sir.

I must admit I have the habit of hacking chunks out of myself with various inanimate objects.

A project isn't worth doing if you haven't shed blood over it. :d
