Don't continue. This means the checksum is wrong. Did you change anything else other than the number 2?

No only 2

The easiest place to take the MS can is from the heater module. If I remember rightly it's the blue plug.  Pin 18 grey & orange on the heater module goes to pin 16 on the sync module.  P

I would come out and start again.

If you are saying you cannot clear those errors, it indicates a problem. The errors say that the APIM cannot communicate with the BCM and also the GPSM.

Come out of Forscan and then go back in to try again. Firstly, try clearing those errors.

The gpsm does not communicate because the module has yet to arrive home. I have to mount it later

But the BCM should still clear.

this message warns that you have typed the value wrong, but it is ok if something has changed ... maybe this message is normal? since we changed something ...

The last 2 digits are a checksum. They should automatically change when you enter the number 2 in. The checksum is not something you type, it is automatically generated.

It's your choice if you want to continue and see if it corrects it.

As long as you have made a backup copy, you can always go back.

I've seen this before and it's usually fine to proceed. As Steevo25 says you can always restore.

you guys are great !!!!!!!! I have no words!!!

what can i activate more? like the doors open closed, or something?

As far as I am aware, the doors open only shows on the instrument cluster screen. It doesn't show on my Sync 3 and I cannot see a setting for it in the AsBuilt.

@smartguy69 is probably better placed to tell you what can be enabled on a Kuga.

I tried to connect to the wifi router of my galaxy s9 mobile phone but the sync does not find my mobile ... why?

Have you made all the changes to your central configuration using FoCCCus?

If you have not, your BCM still thinks you have Sync 1. Although everything may seem to work it is still advisable to make the central configuration changes as I have seen people who have not changed it have unexplained problems.

I am not saying it will fix your issue but it's something that should be done.

I did not. If you tell me what to do, I'll do it right away with you. Ok?

The instructions are in the very first post of this thread. But I didn't change the DAB setting. I would leave that option as it is if you have DAB.

Just be aware that when you read or write in FoCCCus you will get beeps and flashing from your instrument cluster. This is normal. You will also have to clear all the DTCs afterwards.

Make sure you take a backup before changing anything. Also make sure your battery is fully charged as a low battery can stop it writing and cause a corruption.

i connected the battery to the car charger, okay?

I tried but the machine drives me crazy and when I write sol bcm at some point it stops ... what should I do?

That has never happened to me. I have done it many times on my Focus and a few others.

If it has completely stopped then I guess you have no choice but to abort and just hope there isn't a corruption.

Was it writing to the BCM or the IPC?

The worst case is you can write the original configuration using Forscan.

in the end I succeeded. I had to write them one at a time because if I changed them all together it gave me an error. I also changed the color of the on-board computer ... it became black with blue tints, is that normal? it resumes with the color of sync 2 right? What do you do now?

Yes, the colour of the display changes. So it looks like your installation is now a success.

You just need to test everything now.

Yes and all thanks to you !! Now I will stay. Then I wanted to know if it is normal to have a lot of strangers in many parameters?

If you mean 'Unknown', then yes it is normal. FoCCCus is an old utility that is no longer developed. Because it is old, it doesn't recognise any parameters that didn't exist when it was developed.

I will try it and let you know. Meanwhile, I want to thank everyone for the help you have given me! without you I would not have succeeded. You are professional and competent. Thank you!

I'm sorry I'm getting the doubt ... I wrote them on BCM. But did I also have to write them on IPC?
