Sony DAB radio problem

Looks like my Sony DAB radio have a limit problem on how many radio stations/channels it can receive.

Alway missing two channels (random). Change to a other radio channel on a different mux and back, then I can listen to the desired channel.

Asked Ford for a firmware update, but they don't understand this problem, and the answer is that there is no new firmware for this radio.

Would like to do a factory default on the config, but have not found how to do that. Some say that a module reset maybe a solution, but how to do a module reset ?

Audio Controll Module

HW=AM5T-14C230-HD
SW=AM5T-14C044-HF
P/N=BM5T-18C815-XF

look for a post about  "has anyone loaded sync 1 update ".... you can get the files from ford via the chassis number BUT they are BROKEN how to fix is in that post

search is hopeless... how come u have to google to find stuff on our own forum?

check Phil21185 post about 6 down on how to resolve Fords incompetent software fault or it will never load   read it carefully

I had a similar issue so I removed the tick from the alternate frequencies box in the sound menu and all seems okay now, hope this helps?

You could try disconnecting your battery for around 10 minutes to reset your modules. If this doesn't work then visiting a Ford dealer for software updates might work, these can only be done using the Ford ids diagnostic software, most likely at a cost though?

Have tried to remove the tick from the "Alternate frequencies", no change. Still the same problem.

For me it look like the Sony DAB radio have a limit on how many radio station on each dab multiplexor.
