How to fit a multi colour warning LED driving signal strip

Hi all,

First post here, I've had a browse for a similar thread but haven't come across one yet so forgive me if I duplicate a post.

My Car -  Focus S Eco-boost 1ltr 2015

Picked up the following product: 1.2m 12v Car trunk multi colour warning light flow driving signal LED strip.

My issue is I don't know how to wire it, what wire from the LED strip goes to which wire leading to the light cluster, I've removed the drivers side rear light cluster easily and have reasonable access to the wiring from both within the boot and at the back of the cluster and I'm fairly comfortable with securing the cables once connected.

Just asking if anyone can dumb it down for me as to how exactly to wire it in 🙂 Image attached of the LED Tail box lamp controller with the wires on.

Would really appreciate some direction on this please 🙂

Thanks for the replies both, the first post is the info I have which comes with the led strip, what I'm after is which wires do they connect to on the focus itself, as those wires are totally different colours, that's the part that's leaving me a little stumped. I was trying to find a google image that explained the wiring diagram for the lights to show which colour was what if you know what I mean?

On the led strip, the red and black wires are for live and neutral respectively, but on the focus lights, which of those is the live and neutral?

Hi,

Unfortunately I can't help you on this vehicle; however my reason for posting is to inform you;

If you can get your hands on a Haynes manual for your focus the wiring diagram will be in the back pages; I've created over twenty guides on the mk2.5 focus and stripped the entire interior for audio upgrade then refitted all thanks to the Haynes manual,

If nobody else can provide you with the details then the Haynes in the only answer mate.

I did try to intensely search for it but no joy seems to be only older versions so as above should be in the manual.
