Car is booked in to (Secret Service) Bristol Street Ford. Service is £199.82 (Including VAT) and thanks to the advice of @TomsFocus I booked via the 'TopCashback' website and got an extra £8.50 cash back. Let's hope all goes well !! I'll report back after the service. 👍 As promised, here are the findings of my second service (major). Took the car in this morning and checked it in with out any issues. About 2 hours later I received a phone call to advise - Brake fluid change (because of age) and also service & regas of A/C (again because of age). No prices were quoted, and I declined both. Collected the car this afternoon. All seems OK as much as it is possible to tell. I can only assume that oil and filters have been replaced as it's impossible to check. The car had been partly washed (it kind of forces me to wash it properly now 🤣) and it had not been vacuumed inside despite what it says on the invoice. The oil service indicator has been reset (checked on the Ford pass app.) and the service book stamped. total cost including cash back = £191.31

Haven't had a 'Ford' service since 1990 on my then new Escort RS Turbo - sounds as if things pretty much the same

TomsFocus
Some of you saw my post about Lego points expiring on the 'Don't Like' thread. Pleased to say that after just one e-mail, they were able to add a few points (as if I'd bought something) which resets the expiry date for another 18 months. Good result. Also just had an eBay refund in a matter of minutes after seller has been messing me around for over 6 weeks! (I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt). Had a really rough day yesterday so pleased to see something positive today! Oh, the Mk2 passed MOT as well. Only advisory was for rusty front discs, not surprising as it hadn't moved for 14 months.
Jimpster
Had an " atta boy " from the sleep clinic review. Am sub 1 event per hour and regularly acheive 6-10 hrs a night. Also getting new mask and headstrap as they like to replace after 12 months. Will take that as a win.

iantt
As it's April fools day, it would be rude to to fool a few this morning. Early start. My partner and her daughter just about to drive 90 miles to derby to see her mother. Just a quick comment that the o/s/f tyre is flat on her car and I'm now having to getting dressed and swap it, she will be late etc. Can't use my car as I forgot to charge last night( I didn't and it's fully charged) They both in panic mode as the arrival time is fairly important . Jimpster
My Sharp combi microwave went back under warranty today, would have been up in June. Didnt have a replacement so had to pick another model, Kenwood. The oven timer had developed a mind of its own, could set it to convection for 40 mins and it would shut off between 5-10 mins. Took me longer to decide on which model than Currys to validate and sort the paperwork. I like. Did a hotpot in it tatties onins carrots and a couple of lamb *****, 25 mins microwave power, 20 mins at 190 to crisp the top. nom nom
TomsFocus
Bit of fun challenge for anyone that's bored... I've got exactly 98p left on a pre-paid card that expires soon. Can't donate it to charity as minimum is £2. Can't use it on eBay as minimum is 99p. Can't add it to my PaddyPower account as the pre-paid card won't allow gambling. Needs to be something online as I can't remember the PIN, and it's not worth trawling through paperwork to find it for the sake of 98p lol. And obviously it needs to be free postage. Any suggestions welcome!
