It is activated via one of the menu functions in my options (can't remember which though, I think it was in the maps section, but am not sure). Been running F8 for over a year now (there are numerous topics on how to do the map upgrade when the Ford Sync Update doesn't offer it to you). This video shows how to enable cameras on Sync3 ...
